What about the other way? meaning taking some parts of my book and transforming them into articles to drive traffic to the book, and maybe making some profit using AdSense?
You mean write the book first then transform it into video scripts, articles, etc, right? That could work too. It's just that a lot of people aren't 100% clear on the framework that goes into the book (they haven't tested it with a lot of clients) so if they publish early they have to go back and rewrite the book later. I did it the way you suggested before and I like the slower "blog first" approach better myself because I can work out the kinks and publish a bunch of chapters individually and get feedback before crystallizing it into a book.
This might sound like a silly question - but if you have put out your ideas for people to see and comment upon - why would they want to then buy your book? Or is the idea that you give the book away to potential clients instead?
Also some clients do not like to go hunting for information and prefer to have it all in one place. Most people won't notice unless they are super fans that read everything you put out there.
@@selim.digital they won’t really notice if the ideas are in a series of blog posts or videos or podcasts. The book is also a much more organized way to present that set of ideas which makes it easy for people to learn from you. And yeah, you can sell it on Amazon and give away the PDF for free.

The book helps give you credibility and people are willing to spend money with people they perceive to be credible.
