Great! This Ave Maria was composed by the late William Gomez. In the original Amira video, there is a comment from the composer's own brother, Robert Gomez, saying the following: _"This arrangement of the Ave Maria was written by my brother William, a short time before his untimely death in 2000. He left us all this beautiful legacy which is now sung throughout the world. He would have been particularly pleased to hear it sung by a young person, as is the case with the enchanting Amira."_

This video of Amira singing Ave Maria (Gomez) is one of my favorites. She is so deep in the music, as if she were in another world. She somehow takes me into that world with her. If this were the only gift to humanity from her, it would be enough. Fortunately, there is so much more from her.

Dit was het eerste concert van Amira dat ik live meemaakte, het was overweldigend , sinds dien al vele malen een concert van haar zowel in Nederland als in Zuid Afrika bijgewoond ,een godswonder voor u en mij , wonderen blijken te bestaan.

Ik heb de grote diva’s allemaal met veel genot beluisterd.
Maar toen ik de negenjarige voor het eerst hoorde wist ik direct dat ik getuige was van een groot wonder.
Dat een meisje van 9 jaar kan zingen als een operadiva is al een wonder op zich.
Maar er is meer.!!
Haar vriendelijke uitstraling.
Haar grote hart.
Haar bescheidenheid en totale afwezigheid van trots en verwaandheid.
Met al die talenten een gewoon tienermeisje blijven.
GOEDE WIJN BEHOEFT GEEN KRANS!!!!
En dan haar hemels mooie stem.
Dit alles maakt dat mijn ogen steeds vochtig worden als ik haar hoor en zie.
En wat zouden wij veel van haar kunnen leren.🧡❤️🧡❤️

Amira sings with this Choir many Christmases.. some songs they accompany her, some are solo choir or Amira.
Another interesting fact about this performance is that William Gomez's brother praised it in a comment on the video and said that his brother would have loved it .

Voila. Il est tres belle. Son pere joue l'orgue aussi. Elle chant en Espagnol ici.
Elle chant 6 chants a le concert, quel qu'ns avec le chorale des hommes. - Panis Angelicus et Silent Night/ Stlille Nacht. Si on cherche Amira a le Canisius Church 2015, on va trouvera less autras - Sancta Maria, See amid the winters snow, oh holy night....
