I appreciate the sound solid teaching by Dr. Merkle. Oh, how I miss it from our pulpits today! I have listened to the entire message twice and I have been tremendously blessed by the word of God through this messenger each time!

I lean toward a pretrib Rapture view and Imminency. I am attempting to grasp the nuances of Greek and old texts to verify my belief.
While I’m sure we will tell each other who was right or wrong on our way up to meet the Lord, having a 100% knowledge of which doctrine is correct bothers me a little.
Imminency brings me constant joy, and my witness reflects that. I feel that only the person with a complete understanding of the Whole Counsel of God can actually “know” what to believe about how and when we go to be with Him. I don’t know of anyone but Jesus who knows the whole counsel of God.
Ben Merkle is brilliant, but to argue scripture against a person’s hope in God troubles me. A discussion is best.
