(1) Chen Jia's Background Profile (a) Good Piano Skills, and Good at Dancing and Singing Chen Jis was born and raised in Beijing. From the age of three, she studied piano with a professor in the piano department of the Central Conservatory of Music. At the age of 13, she obtained the highest level certificate of the National Music Association and the Central Conservatory of Music piano examination at home and abroad. She also won many awards in Beijing Elementary and Secondary School Art Festival. At the age of 18 she took the national high school gifted piano students exam of Tsinghua University and obtained the first level (highest level) certificate, and the second place in the national high school students piano exam of Beijing University. At the age of 11, she was admitted to the youth and women’s choir affiliated to the China Symphony Orchestra. While Wang Jing and Chen Jia were both contracted singers of TTCEF, Teresa Teng's third brother chose Chen Jia to complete Teresa Teng's posthumous work "清平調". Chen Jia is still the only singer who can accurately recite the songs of Teresa Teng in various languages in various periods, and is regarded by many as the best successor to Teresa. (a) 琴藝高， 能歌善舞
陳佳，土生土長北京人， 三歲起師從中央音樂學院鋼琴系教授學習鋼琴， 十三歲獲得全國音協考級及中央音樂學院海內外鋼琴考級最高級證書，曾多次在北京市中小學藝術節中獲獎； 十八歲考獲清華大學全國高中鋼琴特長生第一級(最高級)證書，及北京大學全國高中生鋼琴考試第二名。
十一歲考入中國交響樂團附屬少年及女子合唱團，在團十年期間，多次出訪美國、俄羅斯、義大利、日本、港、澳、台等地， 演出數百場，並多次獲獎。
2019年考獲英國皇家舞蹈學院第八級 (業餘舞蹈的最高級)。
陳佳2020年10月接受「網易」訪問時說，為了保持舞台上的狀態，會保持練習舞蹈。她又說因為從小就沒有系統地學習聲樂，現在也需要進修聲樂課，學習正確的演唱技術來提升自己的演唱水平，現在她的嗓音比以前更通透清脆，歸韻更柔美。

(2) 辭去高薪的金融工作轉為職業歌手，被很多人視為鄧麗君最佳接班人
陳佳年幼時極之痴迷鄧麗君， 當她悉知鄧麗君去世，她傷心極了，躲在房間痛哭了整個星期， 每逢到台灣，都盡量抽時間去拜祭鄧麗君。
陳佳2011年出差時在酒店房間開了一個長達一個半小時的網上個人演唱會，紀念鄧麗君逝世16週年， 唱了多首鄧麗君不同時期多種語言的歌曲。陳佳不知道網上演唱會能被別人錄下來放在網上， 演唱會視頻偶然被鄧麗君三哥發現， 邀請她簽約鄧麗君文教基金會， 考慮了一年多，最終辭去高薪又隱定的金融工作，於2012年底簽約該基金會，成為職業歌手。
陳佳和王靜曾是鄧麗君文教基金會唯一的兩位簽約歌手，能簽約該基金會是歌藝得到肯定， 是歌手的榮譽。 雖然陳佳和王靜同是該基金會簽約歌手，鄧麗君三哥選了陳佳去完成鄧麗君的遺作《 清平調》。
陳佳仍然是目前唯一歌手能精準背唱鄧麗君各個時期多種語言的歌曲，被很多人視為鄧麗君最佳接班人。
(3) 陳佳有沒有刻意模仿鄧麗君唱歌？
陳佳年少時盡量模仿鄧麗君的歌唱和聲音，但當年紀漸長，她不再刻意追求模仿鄧的聲音， 而是從更深的層次出發，研究鄧的演唱技巧和發聲方法等，經多年硏究， 這些演唱技巧和發聲方法已融入她的骨子裏，成為她自己的歌唱技巧的一部分，能運用自如，無須刻意模仿鄧。
鄧麗君三哥說陳佳本身的聲音就近似鄧麗君的聲音， 她並沒有刻意模仿鄧的聲音，若刻意模仿，只能唱得幾首歌相似，不可能唱這麼多首歌都這麼接近。
2017年5月陳佳在紐約接受訪問時說，她的歌唱是綜合了從鄧麗君、合唱團導師和鋼琴老師所學得的歌唱技巧和音樂知識， 不是單純模仿鄧。
同年11月陳佳在中國常州電台說，她再沒有聽鄧麗君的歌了， 又解釋說若扭曲自己去刻意模仿別人， 不會唱得自然， 不會唱得好聽， 她現在只憑自己對歌曲的感覺去唱。
2021年10月20日晚在抖音直播有歌迷要求陳佳用鄧麗君的聲音去唱流行歌曲， 陳佳回答說她只會用自己的聲音去唱鄧麗君歌曲和流行歌曲。

During the ten years in the group, she visited the United States, Russia, Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan many times, and participated in hundreds of performance, and won many awards.
In 2019, she passed the eighth level of the Royal Academy of Dance (the highest level of amateur dance).
In an interview with Netease in October 2020, Chen Jia said that in order to maintain the state on stage, she will continue to practise dancing. She also said that because she didn't learn vocal music systematically since she was a child, she now also needs to take vocal music lessons and learn the correct singing techniques to improve her singing skills. Now her voice is more clear and crisp, and endings are softer and more beautiful than before.
(b) Highly Educated and Good Career
Chen Jia graduated from the Department of Finance of the "University of International Business and Economics", and later went to Germany to study, she obtained a master's degree in International Business Management from the University of Hamburg, Germany with excellent results, and returned to China to work in Bank of China Securities International Co., Ltd., specializing in A-share listing, a job with a high salary and job security.
(2) Quitted Her High-paying Financial Job to Become a Professional Singer and is Regarded by Many as the Best Successor to Teresa Teng
Chen Jia was obsessed with Teresa Teng when she was young. When she learned that Teresa Teng had passed away, she was so sad that she hid in her bedroom and wept grievously for a whole week. Whenever she went to Taiwan, she tried her best to make time to go to pay respects to Teresa Teng.
Chen Jia held an 1&1/2 hrs online solo concert in the hotel room during a business trip in 2011 to commemorate the 16th anniversary of Teresa Teng's death. She sang a number of songs in different periods of Teresa Teng in multiple languages. Chen Jia didn’t know that the online concert could be recorded by others and put on the Internet. The video of the concert was accidentally discovered by Teresa Teng’s third brother and invited her to sign a contract with the Teresa Teng Cultural and Educational Foundation (TTCEF). After considering for more than a year, she finally quitted her high-paying and secured job in finance, and signed a contract with the TTCEF to become a professional singer at the end of 2012.
Chen Jia and Wang Jing were the only two contracted singers of the TTCEF. Being a contracted singer of the TTCEF was an affirmation of one's singing skills and an honor for singers. While Wang Jing and Chen Jia were both contracted singers of TTCEF, Teresa Teng's third brother chose Chen Jia to complete Teresa Teng's posthumous work "清平調".
Chen Jia is still the only singer who can accurately recite the songs of Teresa Teng in various languages in various periods, and is regarded by many as the best successor to Teresa.
(3) Does Chen Jia Deliberately Imitate Teresa Teng in Singing?
When Chen Jia was a child, she tried her best to imitate Teresa Teng's singing and voice, but as she got older, she no longer deliberately sought to imitate Teng's voice. But instead she started from a deeper level, studying Teng’s singing skills and vocalization methods, which, after years of research, have been thoroughly drilled into her, and now can be freely applied by her as part of her own singing skills, and no need to deliberately imitate Teng.
Teresa Teng’s third brother also said that Chen Jia’s own voice was close to that of Teresa Teng, and she did not deliberately imitate Teng’s voice. If she did, she could only sing a few close songs. It was impossible to sing so many songs so close.
In an interview in New York in May 2017, Chen Jia said that her singing is a synthesis of the singing skills and music knowledge she learned from Teresa Teng, her choir conductor, and her piano teacher, not simply imitating Teng.
In November of the same year, Chen Jia said on Changzhou Radio in China that she did not listen to Teresa Teng’s songs anymore. She explained that if she twisted herself to deliberately imitate others would cause herself to be out of touch with her own essence. She would not sing naturally or well. She now sings only on the basis of her own feeling of the song.
In the evening of October 20, 2021 on Douyin Live, a fan asked Chen Jia to use Teresa Teng's voice to sing pop songs. Chen Jia replied that she could only use her own voice to sing Teresa Teng's songs and pop songs.
