Laughed so hard @0:40....remember my brother crying real tears and screaming, "They ruined me" when he came back from the barber shop. It was the late 60s and longer hair was 'in', but he went to a private school and had to have it fairly short. The barber cut it really short. I spent pretty much all of my middle school summers alone with no oversight. Thank God it was before the internet, and that I didn't catch myself on fire secretly learning to cook over open campfires. But generally I was doing great things, obsessively reading (even though my district was broke and no summer reading was required) along with watching the news and developing my talents. There was just nothing else to do but fall back on my personal resources.
Watching these middle schooler videos literally gives me anxiety because I have a little brother EXACTLY LIKE THIS!! And the mom in the background is spot-on, as always! Thanks for making the most relatable videos ever!
As accurate as Trey is portraying the middle schooler, you'd think he had parented one the way he portrays the parent here. Or maybe it's his own parents he remembers. If so, his parents were just like my parents, spot on.
