hi rick watched both of your training videos really good as most you find on youtube about our kind of model is the HD Video and what the quality of that is like i think some people for get its to take pictures with and not to just shoot video in the first place looking forward to seeing more of theres training videos for the eos500d russ
I am fairly new to DSLR cameras, but this one is my favourite. I use it for astrophotography through my telescope (it can be mounted straight onto a telescope if you remove the lens and use a T-ring). I can't afford a high end DSLR or astro camera, but this camera serves me well. I love it for the price.

@@rickjbradbury actually it's about 9 years old camera. It worked well for 9 years and after my little brother(3y old) played with the camera, it stopped working. First, I though that the battery had no charge, I charged it to 100 and after tried to turn on camera again, still didn't work. I clicked every button, but still camera didn't work even though battery is 100% charged. So, u suggest me to change the battery? I will try it. In fact, I just wanted to ask if there is another idea how to fix the problem??? Anyways, thanks for your answer)

I have watched several of your videos and find them very helpful. Thank you. I just purchased the Rebel T1i with the EFS 55-250mm f/4 5.6 IS. I am looking to shoot at my daughters soccer games. Most of the games start at 7:00pm and then the lights come on the field. Not sure what to set the camera on. My pictures seem very blurry. Could you please recommend settings for the equipment I have now and also recommend equipment I may need before next soccer season.

I must also say as a suggestion i think more people would be more interessted in the settings so "how to shoot in low light, and very dark" how to shoot sun sets and sun rises" as many people don't know what ISO or exposure is.

hey I had another question! I still dont know how to set the iso to that 12800? not that i needed it but just for trying and playing with my new toy. by the way: I took already took over 700 pictures with It, and in my opinion It's a great camera!
@rickjbradbury Thanks for the quick reply. So I purchased a Tamron AF70-200mm F2.8 for my Canon Rebel t1i took it to my daughters soccer game. Game time around 7:00pm (getting dark) Set the camera on TV mode/ shutter speed 1250 and iso starting at 800/moving it to 1600. Pictures came out light enough when the camera could keep up. I did get some OK shoots. I feel that the auto focus is slow and would prefer more zoom. Any additional suggestions under $1,000. TX
@devil4nofate That depends on It or you buy it in a kit or separatly. for example the kit with two lenzes: 18-55 + 75-300 but those are not stabilized witch is very useful. you can also buy the kit that I recently bought, with one lens: 18-55 with stabilizer. (IS) or you can buy a separate body with a lens from another brand: for example the tamron 18-200. good luck with the choosing!!
@rickjbradbury So that you are saying we can make a video in canon 500d but we need to set the camera according to the lightning and it will be a time consuming thing but although if it is... we can make a good movie clip ? with good clarity am i right? will i get good clarity in movies??? because can't believe youtube video samples so you guide me it will be so nice... am going to buy canon eas 500d today... so for my budget this camera only i can buy... is there any other camera in this rate?

Some says, if i shoot video in 720 or in full HD for more than 5 mins this camera will be wasted as inside sensor cmos will affect is that true? so i have to just short my videos into 5 mins? Please can i buy this camera? is it worth for videos??? for short films???with tripod???
The EOS Kiss x3 can accept and Canon EF-S or EF lenses. If you are starting out stick with the kit lens and learn with that first. New lenses can come later.
dude I just subscribed to your channel and I am starting to regret it. you just said you put the camera into auto mode and turned to silver dial button, but didn't show us which setting you set the dial on. what are you doing. you're not helping me fallow along it you don't make sure you show the viewer every thing you're doing.

Hi, My EOS kiss x3 doesn't work at all. It worked before well, but recently I found it not working. I try to turn it on, but nothing changes!!
Have you tried a replacement battery i case the original has failed. ?

@@hauw2409 If it got wet it could stop working for a while. Other than that batteries can go bad after a number of years.
