With it now being moved down to 11.7 i has officially killed off the F4J UK as a gridner for the tree

it wasn't in the summer sales so I got the f4j uk and its quite capable especially at downtiers tho
Remember, the Lazur-M in the german tech tree was only 0.4 BR below this, with no RWR, 50 flares, bad radar, and only R-60MK's as a good missile. Also no guided Air to Ground weapons. It was moved to 10.3 in AB, but its barely competitive from what I've heard.
Wait when did the Lazur M get moved down to 10.3???
@@johnmandato344 just recently. But I think it affects only ground battles. Same with many other MiG-21 bis Variants.
Ground tracking radar it only sees moving targets though. It’s only good for finding them the tv bombs don’t slave to the radar locks though so you have manually lock the targets still
This and 21bis are only 0.3br apart. BR is absolutely compressed to death.

The ground rear on this isn’t the Indians fault, this mig21 uses the su39 radar which has a gmt the only difference this radar and that ks this one gets a hmd that’s it
GTM is a ground radar.

@@SAKOSNIPER Considering they wanted a cheap multirole platform that they already had the infrastructure to maintain, it makes sense. At 11.7 it should be a pretty decent premium. Certainly one of the cooler premiums and id hope to see another MiG-21UPG or MiG 23-98 come to the Soviet tree at some point.
@@SAKOSNIPER The Kopyo radar set is a general aftermarket upgrade and a contained unit in and of itself.
Most famously known from the Su-25TM (aka Su-39) in the form of a suspended radar pod, a number of old soviet jets were upgraded with this radar by air forces still using those planes.
Depending on which platform it's mounted to, the name changes, such as Kopyo-25 on the Su-25TM, and Kopyo-21 on the MiG-21 Bison.
In other words, the ground targeting mode wasn't deliberately added to the Bison, the radar just happened to come with it anyways.

As an Indian player I would like to ask why is Gaijin adding Indian vehicles as premium are they trying to milk Indian players?
i mean india dont even have a sub tree, so they exist in the british tree to as event or premium vehicles, so indian nationalist will have to wait forever for the bishima or feed the snail

It looks like they are adding Russian derived Indian vehicles as premium and event vehicles to the British tree, I assume we will see the Arjun, Tejas, and Hal24 in the tech tree, I’m looking forward to PCB fan club

The Indians hated the Bison Very high crash probability.
For 11.7 the normal R27 and R27T are plenty enough. If not then there is even the R73.
I wonder if gaijin will add R77s to the Bison as it could carry them and has even used them in combat

It will be good at 11.7, but not amazing. It’s worse than the Mirage 2000s at 11.7 in almost every way.

The fact it could carry R-77 but gaijin not giving it cus its another one of those vehicles that could be somewhat OP but could be absolute dogshit. And I say let it be somewhat OP cus infact it won't be somewhat OP, cus its still a Mig-21 airframe at 11.7-13.0 BR blackhole range that its gonna be matched upped against. & lastly because it doesn't have the R-77s its kinda boring and lame, just x2 R-27s aren't good enough to be worth prem.
I think they held back the R-77's because they don't want it to be as good at grinding.

You're right bison will be op with r73s but you need to accept f20 has way better airframe and way better engine, f20 can only lose to f16 at 12.0 in close combat you can't say f20 has to be down. It has to be 12.0 but this shit should never have been added.
