- Can knowing the God of the Bible help us tackle life’s issues or fix our problems? The closing verse of Jude’s letter returns his readers to where he began, focusing on the greatness of “the only God, our Savior,” who has dominion and authority over all things. Far from being impractical or irrelevant, as this and every worldly culture is prone to think, Alistair Begg reminds us that knowing God through Christ provides the only framework, focus, and foundation for living an abundant life.

It is sad that in the particular version of the Bible that is being quoted, the word "Wise" is left out. "the Only WISE God our Saviour..." This simple word has been of enormous help to me when faced with situations I do not understand. Knowing that HE IS A WISE GOD, calms me, and removes fear.
Way too many(although they are helpful for study) translations. I was taught using the King James Version. Still my favorite. If you’re taught using KJ it’s easy to understand what it is saying. There are 44,000 different denominations. People base their belief on the translations they feel that fits the lifestyle they choose to live. Over 70% of people asked about the trinity said that they did not understand this Doctrine. When his disciples said “Show us the Father” he said simply,,, You’re looking at Him.
@@kennewton5877 Isn't that cool! We should be able to say that too...and probably should, if we actually believe what scripture teaches. I love the KJV. Those who claim they cannot understand it have neither the desire, nor mental capacity to bother trying to understand it anyway.
@@6000ChipmunksTry the TLV. I use it in parallel with the KJV. NIV leaves out too much that the KJV has in it.
@eagle3351 If I use any other "version" of the Bible, it would be the Amplified Bible. To expand on the definitions of each major word and allow me to determine what was meant by/in that particular scripture. The Amplified has its flaws too of course. ANY version of the Bible must be substantially different from the original or it would simply be a copy of the original - Plagiarism. So, keeping that in mind, we MUST be VERY careful not to twist scripture for profit. Which is EXACTLY why and what most re-writes of scripture have done. I like your music. :)

I lost my job for declining the vaccine.
As a single mom, it has been tough on me. My husband passed years ago. I still miss him dearly. Both of my sons are autistic. I’m overwhelmed. Father God hear my prayers. Since covid I’ve been struggling to support my children and myself but my faith in GOD is strong! I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I’ve been struggling since. I declined because of my health conditions lupus, and heart disease. I tried to get my job back at Forsyth hospital but they are still wanting vaccinated people over the unvaccinated. I’m now waitressing Im thankful to be working but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. BUT! Even as I constantly struggle to pay my rent. And I constantly struggle to provide groceries for my children! I’m choosing to keep faith. Walking with faith is the most important thing us christian’s must do. So as I struggle I Thank you Heavenly Father and I thank you Yeshua I will keep faith! Amen!

I thought that IF you do GOOD THINGS you GO to HEAVEN...Like so many people I was (mis)diagnosed with not only SAD and Anxiety disorder but Chemical-imbalance which has been formerly known as alcoholism/drug addiction, I fell into the trap of accepting the "fact" that I'm going to die a heroin addict and an alcoholic, tossed my career, all my possessions, marriage, relationship with my loved ones, down the drain to become a career "street pharmacist". I traded my brother's and sisters marriages, my grandparents funerals, quality time with my close friends and loved ones for a circular-life fueled by addiction, violence, pain, anger, withdrawal and blaming others for the mistakes I made. Meanwhile God was patiently waiting and protecting me... Although it took me well over 10 years, I gave up the self-reliant lifestyle to our Lord Jesus Christ and my dad at least got to see his son come home before he passed from a heart-attack in my hands on the bathroom floor. Although I really, really miss him, I can't wait to join him in praising God for everything good He has done in my life...

God's existence is not too haard to prove, its the believing that many find hard, even though proven and the rebellious of heart, finds it impossible, simply coz that would "relinquish" their "I will, want, crave, have etc." Go back through lineage (even if atheist/evolutionist this is proof!) go back to day 6-5-4-1 and before creation, what some call the Big Bang, other scientists, have other models...But you end up with an uniformity that is infinite, its eternal and its NOT emptiness, as many philosophers claim, we are deluded by "space" & time, which is also created, but fact is, its absolute 1'ness, with no other thing, no nothing, no other God beside Him YHWH, ONLY God in all his being, being consciousness and nothing else, but absolute fullness. And thats where you end up, by deduction "back" to "start". Absolute Unity and not a single part can be moved anywhere, to where its not already, so again absolute stillness, peace, tranquility, unmovable forever and ever ! Process of creation is: Consciousness aka God YHWH, becomes conscious of Himself ( this is only for understanding! ), as God is eternally conscious of Himself, hence the word "Consciousness", which is to say, it isnt unconscious, never was/is. never will be. Creation is created, upheld & destroyed ad infinitum and it all takes place in God's mind/consciousness. We dont experience anything outside, we experience on our inside, we not being here, only God, we just think/believe we are separate from each other, whereas its actually God in disguise, God having the experience of you, me and everybody else, hidden behind an ego, our "self-identification" which is, but an interference pattern, like throwing 6 stones/senses/interpreting mind, into a pond and each circle makes new circles when they interfere....A "mirage" standing on a hot day, shimmering as a wave of heat.
When we dream a dream at night, maybe sitting in a chair talking to someone already dead.....then we wake up, but where did the chair go, the room we sat in, the dead person ??? It's just fantasy you would say, a dream fantasy, that we believe in the dream as real.....Creation is God's consciousness "dreaming" everything God is not, separation, death, movement, time, change etc etc.....and at the same time, dreaming what He is, as in name & form are interchangeable. and ever expanding on many/infinite levels, forever.
The absolute fullness ie. God YHWH cannot become no-thing aka a void and therefore was never created, but always creating and the theoretically "start" needs God's impetus, His will to initiate/ begin creating, otherwise there would be no experience at all, just flat being without self-realization, so us experiencing, actually becomes proof of our Lord God's existence aka creation is proof in itself, that God exist and at the same time He is not dependent of/on it, but beyond and in it simultaneously. Our Lord Jesus the Christ, the Alpha & Omega, the first and the last, our Savior and Redeemer, the Way, the Truth and the Life, is "Emmanuel" ~ God with us, as Consciousness being conscious of Himself, by Himself aka the Holy Spirit being the process between the "two" making the Triune God YHWH our actual reality. I was just checking out the various bible versions of Jude 1:25 and only the KJV says it like this - "To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." KJV is the only version that seems to suggests there might be other Gods who are *not* as wise as the Christian God? I often find that KJV phrases things uniquely from all the others. Another example is 13 Corinthians 13:12. Only the KJV says "through a glass darkly". All the others say "though a mirror darkly". You could really dive deep (esoterically) into that. A mirror shows you yourself while a piece of glass shows you what's on the other side of the glass. Considered esoterically, the use of "glass" here could be a metaphor for what's on the other side of the veil of consciousness (Spirit). I believe the KJV version was channeled through Francis Bacon (AKA Shakespeare) by the same Spirits who wrote the original Scriptures and hence, divinely inspired, unlike the other versions. many believe Francis Bacon became the Spirit known as Saint Germain. There is a worldwide Society dedicated to Saint Germain and many thousands claim to have interacted with him, including me. He's a very outgoing and charismatic Spirit.

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to Alistair Begg in this video, but I can never understand why people with such Biblical knowledge still have to mention "idols" like Sinead O'Connor as if they are someone to look up to - very hypocritical. If people would only realise that many of these celebrities worship Satan, and that's why they get to be famous. Remember, it was Satan that took Jesus up to a high place and offered Him his Kingdom if he would only bow down to him. Who do you think is the master of these 'high-placed' people?
