Thank you for your great reaction. Your tears are all too understandable. I am a 56 year old man from Germany and it always brings tears to my eyes too. This is one of Daneliya's rare talents. She sings her way deep into the hearts of her listeners like no other. She herself once said in one of her interviews that she always passes on a piece of her heart to her audience, and that's probably exactly it. That's funny cousin because I think the high notes bring the lower notes into a better relief or make them stand out. Plus her high notes bring another dose of tears to my eyes because they are so, clean and pure. Just those notes alone brings tears to my eyes. But put it in juxtaposition to the low tones make the melancholy of the low tones and the lyrics enhance the blue mood longing for some place of rest. At least that's what I get. Daneliya doesn't do many vocal gymnastics. You'll not hear many throat destroying belting notes. You won't hear long complicated runs. What you get is a version of the song that she finds as the truth of the song and the tears start to flow. So don't feel like you are the only one to have tears in their eyes listening to Daneliya. In fact, if the truth was told we would not be the only two to cry. Truth be told cousin, these tears are also mixed with tears of joy at having you and that smile of yours back. Seeing you again makes the world seem in better balance. WELCOME HOME COUSIN!!!!!!!!

She breaks my heart when she sings like this. So much of her intent is buried inside the notes. Sometimes you respond in a way that you do not know why you are doing so. But she sings with such meaning in every note that it takes a while to figure out why it hits you so hard. I have never heard one of her songs without shedding tears for many and way different reasons. Like this song besides just the sound of her voice, and how she uses it, it's because while most respond with a longing to be back 'home' where they belong. I am crying because I've never felt I had a 'home'. Now I'm trying to gain sympathy, I am just pointing out her songs and that voice bring out many feelings because of how she sings. You feel a longing for home, I feel a sadness because I have none. But the point is we all feel what she is singing. That's because she invests in her music and we all love her and her voice because of it. I am glad you are back here where you belong. Thank you for your reaction Cousin.
