.........note: airfare is very expensive going to Batanes esp during the 1st quarter of the year.......but it's worth it if the weather is good.........

hey mhalley, you dont need to book it with anybody. Theres a tourism office specifically for going to mararison island. You pay there and you get given a boatman, you can also wait in the office for joyners. You can find this office behind the municipal hall along the beach road

The name "mararison" or "malalison" most probably means "place where there are many trevally fish." _Mala-_ or _mara-_ is a prefix meaning "characterized by", "featuring", or "resembling." _Lison_ or _rison_ means "trevally," those large dorky looking fish with huge lips and foreheads.
Those fish are huuuuuuge cody swam and see them in bali 1 time she nearly had a heart attack 🤣🤣🤣🤣 luckily i stayed on the boat so i was just laughing at her

Robert! She is just expressing herself the smell of fish and it’s true it smells. I love dry fish and I grow up eating dried fish.
