    I can't sew to save my life but I want to learn so just watching this gave me an idea for a costume I want to make for Halloween this year!

    When I was 9 or 10 I went as Link for Halloween. My mom made a very clever DIY costume of a large sweater and tights. I also got a cool sword. Good stuff.

    Having the front and back on the same template was actually really smart I’ve never thought of that but sweet tip.

    You know she knows what she is doing cause she is one the rare ones who runs pins perpendicular to stich line.

    I'm planing on making one but couldn't find a good tutorial I love how yours turns out and would like to know a little more in depth. Its been a while since you posted and hopefully you see this message. I would love it and would appreciate a ton if you could consider to have a conversation explaining a little more of these things to me. Maybe even help me out while I'm doing it. Its a long shot but I want mine to look as good as yours does so please if u read this lets try to talk.

    im not great at sewing, but can do fine enough- do you think think this would be accomplishable with buying a tee shirt (maybe a few sizes up to be more tunic-like) and cutting and detailing the collar? looking for the easiest and cheapest route 😅

    Please help me :( trying to do this but the sleeves keep coming out terribly. When I lift my arms the entire tunic balloons up. How do I fix?? I’m following exactly what you do except you give no explanation on making a pattern. Your sleeve pattern is weird and curved and doesn’t fit the body pattern. Somebody please help.

    • @jayphoenixcos3136
      @jayphoenixcos3136  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I made my own patter but it could be possible to find one. I personally wasn't able to find one that was exactly what I was looking for online but you could find something if you search through some pattern catalogs at a fabric store I'm sure!

      oliver Fair I'm pretty sure it's some kind of cotton twill. I'm not 100% sure what it exactly is in that regard but it's just a medium weight woven fabric ^^
