I rarely comment on TH-cam but here ... Why am I only seeing this now?! I had tears in my eyes in certain passages, .. One of the best Elijah video edit I've ever seen! It's so beautiful. A great video for a great character, Elijah. Elijah, one of the best characters, my favourite character. He's honest, honourable, upright, noble. He always tries to defend those he loves, and what he does is for his family. I admire him a lot for that. When he makes a promise, he keeps it. There's something about him that's different from the other vampires and even his brothers and sisters. The way he talks, the way he stands, the way he speaks, the way he acts... And we see how others behave in his presence: they fear him, respect him, ... He has done so much for others ... but what about him ? He deserved so much happiness. Need I say that I'm still not over his death? Even though I understand why he did it and that the two brothers could have died together and the last person they saw on earth was the brother? There are so many things to say about him. Daniel was the perfect man to embody him.

Klaus, the legend, who was consistently abusive towards women & people in general & yet people still be singing his praises. meanwhile female characters get too much hate for even being mildly annoying

They limited kol screen time because haft the issues would've been resolved with them stabbing him. He didn't wait for others to come up with a plan once he knew they were dangerous enough. He was out for blood they did him dirty in tvd especially because his own family was scared of him haft the time. For the others to get him was pure writers logic. Just like Damon always being able to snap his neck like he's not 1000 years old.

The series ended sorely, not sure what happened to Elijah…he seemed emotionless, almost like the actual actor was dying

This is a masterpiece, loved it. Their bond was what made the show special for me. Marcel was the only person he didnt love because he had to, he chose to love him. Side note: Some people think Mikael is not stronger than Klaus but that makes no sense, since Mikael is older and drinks vampire blood for fun.😊

Finn should have left with Kol that night they wanted to split up. They should have snuck off in the night. Him and Kol could have taught each other. Finn could have taught control to Kol for his bloodlust and Kol could have taught him to embrace his vampirism even though he saw it as a curse. Finn wouldn't try to control Kol physically and they would probably fight but They could have been each other's backbone and rock. Kol as you saw was worse off with Elijah and Klaus. Elijah and Rebekah were always up Niklaus' ass because they were scared of him and were blindly loyal even though Klaus treated them terribly over the centuries. Kol and Finn were the only ones who weren't scared to go toe to toe with Klaus and told it like it is. Which is why Kol and Finn were seen as the outsiders since they never bowed down to Klaus. Finn and Kol actually could relate to each other better. Because Finn and Kol both lost who they were when they were turned as opposed to the others who found out who they were when they turned. Kol was a witch and he lost that ability. Finn was a 26-29 year old man when he was turned which means he knew who he was and he was a provider for the family before turning. He lost that when he turned which was his loss of identity as a man since he probably felt he was no longer needed. He also didnt have children before he turned which is possibly trauma from Dahlia taking Freya. He remembers what she said and probably didnt want any of his own children to be taken so he probably abstained from women for the most part. When he found Sage, he found happiness and he felt better in his body. Kol and Finn are smart, strong, resilient, and determined. They would have made a good team. Finn's mental intelligence, Kol's witty strategies, Sage's manipulation tactics, and even Kol's significant other who would most likely be a powerful witch. Imagine the strength of Kol and Finn if they weren't ever daggered. Finn wouldn't hate his existence as much as he did and he would be happier since he would have Sage and Kol would be able to be close to what he loved which was magic. All I'm saying is if they left that night, Kol and Finn would have been better off and totally different people. Kol would still probably call him a bore or dull but not to the extent because he would be happy because he would have Sage and be away from the judgements of the rest of the siblings. He probably would have let loose on occasion with Kol. They just squandered all potential of Finn and Kol and the healing of a relationship between brothers.

The one thing Damon Salvatore "who was a twisted one too" failed to see through Klaus Mikaelson was "why do you do all these bad deeds if it ain't for ypur loved ones?!" and Klaus by time and therapy "thanks to Cami" learned why he did so for over a millenium just to create fear in the hearts of people who hear his name and he got this. But finally he came to realize that fear won't protect his loved ones but rather loyalty and devotion and that what he later on ingrained in his daughter which holds the best parts of her father that even Aurora admitted to see ❤ R.I.P Klaus Mikaelson you were a flawed warrior who earned his redemption
