Why bring impact grenades when AC exists and instead bring thermite or stun?

You just need to aim lower than what you would think for the impacts to work depending on your distance you need to put your throw directly under the lip of the vent opening then they will work

Its actually pretty easy to get one in the vent, also, try grenade pistol, i snipe fabricators with it. Also im sure the explosive rifle works too

U can ping it, stand about 18-20m away and aim ur crosshair at the bottom edge of the vent, works about 80% of the time for me, with grenede pistol too

You can also throw any of your other non-airstrike strats on them and it’ll work. A little unorthodox but does the trick.

I honestly always wonder why people use impact grenades. Like yeah cool they're good against infantry but I almost never use grenades on enemies, I always use them against fabs and nests

Alternatively, aim your grenades for the lip just below the exhaust ports, until your reticle is halfway above the lip. Haven’t missed one since :D

You can even destroy the fabricators by killing the bots with the jet pack. The jet pack explosion will destroy the fabricator too. But the front door must be open still.
