I worked as a union stage hand and setup shows for many great acts.Between show's i had worked, and concerts I've attended since, adds up to quite a number. That said, the Who in Providence December 13,1975 was the best show bar none that I ever saw.

I have been a big fan of the Beatles and an amazing follower of Bob Dylan with his incredible poetry and his amazing songs. George as a single performer did not have the same power and change as Bob or the Beatles. His voice and lyrics were amazing but not life changing or world breaking new ground. An ordinary performer taking his power base from his part of the Beatles. My Sweet Lord stands out and will always be a favourite of mine. Life changing Dylan has extraordinary power and inspiration to the world.

Both Dylan and the guys in The Band had mixed feelings about that 1974 tour. Sure it was "fun times" to be on the road together again, but they were both very much not in great shape and only participating as a cynical cash grab.

Bob was a patient in the hospital where I worked. He was under his real name. One of the physicians told me which room he was in. No security no special treatment at all. He was being treated for a pretty serious illness but recovered fully.

@@jrodriguez6 yes 1996 or 1997. The hospital is on Long Island and he was admitted under the name Robert Zimmerman. We saw many celebrities during summer months because many summered in The Hamptons and this hospital was the only level 1 trauma center closest to the Hamptons. He wasn’t my patient but news travel Ed fast.
