The fact that this format might allow me to dust off and play one of my favourite decks again (BWG) is awesome. I didn't even consider that since its a tamer heavy format, Blackwargrey would be able to compete until I saw this video. Also, keep the meta breakdowns coming! :D

I meant to mention that iceclad is running in Dan's Imperial deck - that is SUPER dangerous considering how big your stack can grow in imperial with all of the DNA evos you get! AND don't forget that partition still works with Hexeblau O.o

honestly you run a pretty similar deck as mine, I but I prefer running a 1 sora and 2 wings of love to push those 4 cost tamers more easlty, since this deck really needs you to have them to even play. Also a pretty good tech is 2 bt8 Shurimon which help negate mangamon x and other blocker decks. I really love this deck and even tho I don't always win I always have fun playing it.

the mastemon tech in 7GDL is because you can evo off a chaos luce, summon lvl 3 lucemon from trash, then put mastemon on top of security, then evo into the lvl 5 luce chaos that drops to trash from the sources of mastemon

I went more for a version that valorize having digimon with both yellow and red... and sometimes purple . 4x howkmon p 2x howkmon bt16 4x salamon bt16 4x ukkomon bt16 4x gatomon bt16 4x llynxmon bt16 (too strong to be able to evolve into gatomon and evolve into silphymon ) 2 harpymon bt16 2 burning graymon bt17 4 silphimon bt16 2 dinobeemon bt16 3 valkirymon bt16 1 magamon x bt16 4x yolei e kari 2x yolei p 2 chaos deg 3 beastly storm dance 1 heaven's 2 revelation of ligth 1

I used to play a lot this deck in sim when released. I end up with 2 version: aggro red and yellow control. You should try out ex4 agumon because is always +1 memory and the ess is nice too. And lynxmon is also a great lvl 4. Makes your silphymon a threat and can help with raid if needed. I use different lvl 6 to spice things up. 1 bt13 kentaurusmon is nice, let you unsuspend like an omnimon and help you with dp minus too. Of course bt16 magnamon x is a great card since you can get to proc the eff. Last thing, since ancientgaru is so popular you should trust the bt15 kari and revelation for more control.

8:38 Megagargo also helps since imperial cant digivolve to save their lvl 5 or 6 from deletion! Or stun tamer so they cant strip sources I recommended that tech to Ben during some brewing since I always hated gargo as an imperial player.

Lol looks exactly like mine maxed out deck, 4 pre released stamped bt16 veemons and minus one less imperial and 2 deaths AA. One day I will get the lottery magnas one day.

Why Magna X of all decks?

If you're worried about having more DP reduction protection, Breath of the Gods might be a good 1 of card to put in. Security effect is also good so your opponent can't attack you directly anymore for the turn (shuts down Mirage for example), and prevents your Digimon from being bounced when used from hand as well as giving it reboot so you can go both offensive on your turn and defensive on the opponent's turn with your blockers.

Hey just a reminder that this deck is Pre August 23rd Restriction! With “Awakening of the Golden Knight” being limited to one, im sure there will be a ton of creative tech choices to be put in! Let me know what you have in mind!

My list is pretty similar. I've been going back and forth on BT1 T.K. and Shuu. I like tthe alliance but I prefer the search from T.K. plus it always sets up a yellow source for heaven's judgement.

I was just going to up my count of Mental Trainings and Blue Mem Boosts so I can go into MagnaX and keep turn. It's not that bad of a hit to MagnaX, just slowed him down a lil. Also, I'd recommend looking at the promo Veemon. Being able to digivolve for 1 or 2 is good to keep turn or choke memory. Plus drawing cards is always good.

Revelation of light. Best card for defense and offense. I run a high roll version that has responded well back to me.

what do we think about a PAIR ban on the ukkos? you have to choose one or the other (promo or bt16) you cant have both in same deck

I really wish that they would restrict the four cost. Davis and Ken, it does too many things for one tamer

Monzae x is the bigger issue because of aces

I use 1 kimeramon instead of one old silphymon, because he gives 3 or 4 Bodys -4000 to 5000DP until the end of opponents turn and you could get Partition when you put from the trash one new silphymon under kimeramon. Kimeramon feels better than old silphymon but is not searchabel, so just 1 (2 Max) Instead of Training I use 2 red mem boosts because when you missing something in DNA you want to Search Deep and you offen Need Memory to Play another body instead of reducing digivolving costs 😄 Instead of yolei tamer (I tried to put her in due to the artwork and matching the theme) I use 2 Tai Memory setter who gives your DNA Digimon 2-3 Security checks (depends on using the DNA Option or having valkyrimon). And maybe use 1 heavens Judgement. You can clear offen boards with it. When kimeramon is out with 5 colors, the Board gets clean 😂

Excellent deck list! I especially like the Biyomon providing extra search power while also setting up the trash for the Salamon. That's a neat combo. I feel like this deck could use at least one more level 6. The Three Great Angel Aces are all good considerations, while Venusmon can lock down a board after you clear it with Silphymon.

Biyo is a very interesting tech in this deck. I was running a pretty similar build to this, but then I swapped over to that red/yellow/purple jogress pile build DigiPanda posted. Using BT16 Sylphy and Dinobee to go easily into either Valk Ace, ST Mastemon or Mastemon Ace. It's jank as hell but really fun.

I've tried using one or two of the BT16 dinobeemon, which works surprisingly well for ending the game and you know what you can do with a sylphimon and a dinobee on board? that's right, you can DNA into... mastemon... 😎
