Hey bro I’m trying to grow my business. I struggle between swinging between lazy and then being stagnant and then the pain from that fuels me and I think my shadow kind of over powers and takes over and I get this insane aggression, and energy and discipline but what comes with it is like dark desires (buying expensive cars, watches etc to show off and jsut cutting off everyone Nd just fully becoming my shadow. As much it feels good having that energy, I also feel the future depressive lonely feelings from pushing everyone away. But hey, I have a lambo so I just be happy. But Ik that’s not true. The point I’m making is please make a video on how to integrate your shadow properly and coming to harmony with it. So I don’t swing between lazy and doing bad habits to agressive, disciplined but emotionally Numb and pushing everyone away and trying to buy crazy sh!t to prove to people that I’m not inferior and I’m worthy of love and respect etc. I know integrating my shadow would really help me stay consistent and make more progress than ever
This is very relatable brother, I’ve been through the same cycles countless times. Pain of regret is a wicked source of fuel. IMO, the goal should be to determine your dream life on a day to day basis. How do you want to live, where, and doing what daily. Then work backwards and figure out how to develop that lifestyle that you enjoy. Materialism is just the icing on the cake, like you said. I also learned from some book that the more you think about something, the more power you give it to manifest itself. For example: if u think everybody is leaving you, and you hyper focus on that, then you will begin to act like the person people want to leave… and it will become reality. If you flip that and believe you’re the man, act accordingly, and have hope that things will work out long term, then your reality will begin to reflect that. It all starts from within! Also learn to draw happiness from within, through discipline, training, martial arts, etc. As for the shadow… I already made a short video actually talking about fight club and integrating the shadow, it was uploaded right before this one!
You broke the first rule
Worth a shot I guess
Best video yet. The stuff on external reality reflecting your internal state is gold. Keep it up
Thanks.
Good video bro

hmm the first week I noticed sleep was much deeper, but two weeks in, wahhh! When does it feel good? I'm drinking Teeccino instead of coffee. . .and some decaf
i like your eyes
Quit cold turkey from 2-3 grams a day, working nights. First week fatigue and lethargy were really bad, week 2 slow and steady improvements. Week 3 atm, no more cravings besides when im about to do long shift. Never had headaches but tension around neck and shoulders lasted for nearly 2 weeks.
This was good
how would you describe your brain function before and after? ive gone down rabbitholes trying to fix my health for the past 3 years. severe memory issues, cognitive decline, chronic fatigue, verbal fluency issues, anxiety etc. havent abused caffeine the past few years but def been doing atleast 100mg everyday. im wondering if its just chronic rem sleep deprivation or something.
I've honestly dealt with the same issues you listed, but probably not to the same severity. After quitting caffeine and alcohol, my anxiety has gone down dramatically. But, there are still off days...and it gets worse before it gets better. Sleep quality was worse when I quit first, but is slowly improving. My energy levels are also improving. I made a video on this titled "caffeine withdrawal: when will i get my energy back" if you want my pov on that. As for memory and cognitive decline... I'm not as bad as I was, but at the same time, there is still an element of dissociation. I believe this is a trauma issue though and caffeine just masked it. I heard somebody say that it takes 8-12 months off a drug to really understand what it means to be sober because your brain needs time to heal and reset. I'm at 6 months off caffeine so hopefully I can give better feedback in the future haha. But if you are thinking about quitting, I'd go for it. It may suck first, but the only way out is through. Use this video as a guide, it has every bit of information that helped me quit! Best of luck bro
@@DevonRodgers62I agree and the only way to truly process the trauma is sobriety
Look up Miguel Cfs recovery
And yah even 100mg will do it
The rejection example is super intelligent man well done
Thank you! Tried to make this my best caffeine video haha, full guide
The rejection example is super intelligent man well done
Caffeine doesn’t make you productive it makes you anxious and then dissociated
Facts. Drinking caffeine only temporarily reduces the withdraw that caffeine created in the first place
4 weeks into withdrawal after going cold turkey. Hell for a week but just beginning to feel a real difference. Some subtle but sleeping improving, anxiety dropping, multiple pee stops finished, head fog down 50%+. Not only coffee but black tea. I often had 8 mugs a day and the caffeine mounts up the same. This is not a fad or hype, caffeine addiction is serious stuff that messes with your life. I certainly won't get fooled into filling my body with it again.
I feel ya bro, I was up to 4 cups of coffee a day at one point haha. Keep going! The only way out is through
WWWW
Thank you so much for this bro
Now months later has the anhedonia lifted ?
I’ll do an update soon, but yes, it’s gotta better! Everyday is progressively better with some low points every now and then, which is expected I was also going through alcohol withdrawal simultaneously so that could have been a factor haha
@@DevonRodgers62 yah for sure I experimented with a half cup off coffee to see what it would do and dude it made me so adhd and anxious crazy how it works it does nothing for energy just makes you crazy
Pretty much, that shit is liquid stress hormones. Especially after your tolerance goes down, oh man
@@DevonRodgers62yah if you were drinking every day that must have been a bitch . Regular reality feels so boring haha I always come back to your videos to be honest
I’m doing the same thing with Coca Cola went from energy drinks to 65mg Diet Coke 16 oz then 45 mg 16oz now 35 mg coke
Good stuff mate, keep going!!
It seems to me that you not only missed the point of this line, but of the entire movie. Tyler's next line in that scene is "self destruction on the other hand..." Tyler wants to tear down society, and the way to begin is by tearing down individuals. "It's only when we've lost everything that we're free to do anything." Tyler wants people not only to stop trying to improve, but to go in the opposite direction and try to hit rock bottom. Then start building back up again the right way. His premise is men are feminized by modern society and need to reclaim their masculinity by rejecting aesthetics and consumerism and by reclaiming their primordial instincts, which include fighting.
Realest thing I’ve read today
Self-improvement to live life in the future and to love yourself later is a lie
