This was confirmed to be the normal battle music and it slaps! But this makes me wonder what the boss music will be like?

This reminds me of a hike near or in a mountain range. And 0:23 feels like crossing a big bridge with a gorgeous view of said mountains.

This theme really gives me summer vacation vibes.

Ive been looking for this one for a long time! Thank you! Its just so eerie and makes for aj awesome twist as shadow mario. Though i think it was so hard to find because the game did not put this one in the listening tracks in chapter 4.

I wonder what this song will be for. Definitely not a regular battle theme, it sounds too serious and bombastic and not cheerful, whimsical and rhythmic enough. It doesn't strike me as a regular boss battle theme either. Maybe it will be a theme for minibosses/event battles as in Paper Mario? Or a theme for the battles with the main villains (those Extension Corps guys) like the Smithy Gang had their own theme in SMPRG?

Surprised so many people hear Odyssey. I hear a lot of Final Fantasy influence, and I hope Yoko Shimomura is a returning composer.

It would be so cool if the "Brothership" itself evolved and gained new sub-areas and features, like the Starship Mario.

Sounds good, but not quite like Yoko. I guess it's no big deal since I'm sure the game will be great, but she really does bring a certain vibe to the series. I hope the music overall is a little plunkier than this. Don't get me wrong, I love a good orchestration, but too much modern Mario is grand orchestra or jazz.
