Hmm, I'm not exactly sure why. If you're still having trouble with it, I suggest trying out a different nickname to see if it's not allowing you to set nicknames at all or just the one you're trying out. It's possible the game flagged it as inappropriate and isn't allowing you to use it. I play another game by this company and sometimes I type something that isn't inappropriate at all but the system would censor it.

@@aayaturrehman9850 The voiced line doesn't trigger if the person you chose is already at the cafe in the home screen when you hit back from setting the nickname. You'll have to switch to someone else and then switch back. And I think the capitalization does make a difference so make sure the first letter is capitalize as well!

Ohh I’m using the English voiceover but for CN, I’m guessing Cantonese? I didn’t download the CN voiceover for the game yet, not sure if it’s going to work but I hope it does!

Yes! It works on all three of them.

I think as long as you unlock the nickname feature, it should work. If you change the nickname Xavier has for you and he's already on the home screen, you need to change it to someone else and then switch back to him to trigger the interaction. Hope that works for you!

Yes! They'll say girlfriend in Chinese if you type "girlfriend" in English! And oddly enough, they will call you "Jie Jie" in Chinese if you type in "Darling"

So far, I only know "honey" and "girlfriend" works! I play with the English text and simplified CN voiceover and those two were the only success I had so far. I'm not entirely sure about the Japanese voice over but it's worth a try ☺ In the CN server, I know if you change your nickname to the nickname we have for them (Xing Xing, Yu Yu, Shen Shen), it will trigger a special line but idk what it is in English 🥲
