It can be done in both ways... If you follow wire bucket method it gives water absorption value also...

Specific gravity does have a unit sir. It is g/cc. But usually we ignore this

In ASTM 1202 it is said fill the voids in sample with CaOH
in one video it is said to prepare sample by lime saturation process
what if we do the test without vacuuming it
It may affect the passing of ions which results in inaccurate results
why should we prepare sample in vacuum desigator??
Vaccum desigator is used to remove air voids without any additional agents

Specific gravity of cement must be in the range of 3.13-3.15. Since you have obtained 2.45 it is advisable to perform the test again with more care

M45 grade ka average rcpt result koi bata sakata h..??
RCPT values differ for each mix of concrete... we cannot derive a standard value of RCPT for certain concrete grades...
Is this a process of AASHTO T277?
Procedure is same for both ASTM C1202 and AASHTO T277... Only the limitations in result variations are different...
