June 28 was a vibrant day, brimming with excitement as we hosted two remarkable events: The Great Academies Awards Ceremony and the Campfire Family Fun Evening. These events not only celebrated the achievements of our students but also strengthened the bond between our school and our community.
The Great Academies Awards Ceremony is a cherished tradition at Ashford Academy, a day dedicated to recognizing and rewarding the outstanding efforts of our students in various spheres. It is a moment of pride for students and teachers as we celebrate academic excellence, leadership, and exceptional contributions. This year, the atmosphere was electric with applause and cheers as each deserving student received their award, demonstrating their hard work and dedication.
Students received awards in several categories, including Best in Stream, Best in Class, Most Improved, and the Head Teacher's Awards. These honors acknowledge both academic achievement, through the Best in Class and Stream awards, and personal effort, through the Most Improved award. Additionally, the awards celebrated various aspects of school life, such as punctuality, discipline, and self-care, with categories like Most Punctual, Most Disciplined, and Smartest.
