Armchair Thriller, Laurel and Hardy and some great movies (exploitation films and the movie versions of British sitcoms are my favorites). The uploads from this channel are great. Thanks, much appreciated.
I'm an extra. Worked St. Monica blvd.😊
Cool movie
I never saw the TV series. John Alderton is great in this. I thought the different characters were amusing such as the Home Economics teacher. I did struggle with some thoughts and emotions regarding school and teachers as I watched. New teachers can think they will make a difference, but they don't. And you can see that the home and parents are really the most important people and influence on children. Just what you learn and if the teachers have that much effect on you is interesting. You can have a couple of good teachers and a great subject, but not all. As for teaching, you get difficult co-workers, students/pupils and parents. I could read going into school and that is what made me think. The hymn at the beginning is a memory from school: All Things Bright and Beautiful. Loved the hymns from Assembly. All in all, the film was enjoyable and made me reflect too.
Scared the absolute hell out of me as a child!!! The best one of all!! Haunts me even now!! 😱😱😱
A great old English horror classic . Peter Cushion and john Hurt, brilliant. Thanks Mr. LIDDLE
Happy Halloween.✌🎃
I'm taking the stairs next time.! Thank you for uploading this Dutch retro horror movie, which I hadn't seen before. I really miss the vintage 80s splatter films, with creepy 'synth' soundtracks.! 😱😁☮️
Glad you enjoyed it!
You absolute Legend. Hands down one of the best made for TV horror shorts from back in the day.
Blanche (Beatrix Lehmann) excellent acting
great upload, I think the 1 is better, damnn YT most of the time doesn't let u download anythinng, & the few programs that exist seems threatened, this really suckzz! 🤘👹
Are you going to have another go at the On The Buses films?
no not allowed
@@jasonliddle7410oh well. Thanks for all the other ones 👍
oh wonderful! thanks ever so much for the channel
What happened to On The Buses?
THEY BLOCKED IT
Oh how well I remember those little travel alarm clocks 😅.
Hey thanks a lot man! Love watching this movie.
Glad you enjoy it!
Perfectly dreadful.
absolute classic, love the old style incidental music too, many thanks
Brilliant 😂
Dragged on + on
I always love the little 'Thames Television' intro of these great quality old TV shows. Thanks for these Jason.
the female reminds me of Princess Diana, looks, personality, mannerisims
if you can get through 1:16:30 without the hairs on the back of your neck or arms standing up then you're braver than me. A quick note on The Black Nun legend, when I was a kid growing up in Wales in the 80's we used to go to a Welsh language leisure camp in a place called Llangrannog on the Welsh coast, it was the first time many of us had a weeks break from our parents and there were 8 of us to a room so of course at night we would misbehave and dare each other to explore the camp after lights out and the camp counsellors got so annoyed at our exploits that a legend was started (probably by the counsellors) of the Black Nun who would get you if caught outside of your room after dark. It even lasted until my last stay in the mid 90's. Watching this as an adult suddenly makes sense where the legend started
didn't like the ending...but a good show...
Great story. The moment he repeats the same crime as her husband is quite telling. Great performance by Alan David. Having watched them all now I'd say this was in the top #2 of the stand-out stories. The best is still A Dog's Ransom. Ironically I think the worst was probably the one they spent the most money on: High Tide. (a nothing burger really but worth it for Ian McShane)
Racism sexism class bias and homophobia all in the first 25 minutes
The police in these series are incredibly dense. Insane. Do you think the police were reall so stpid in the 1970s?
I'm glad this is fiction. It would be awful if an animal died like that. Cute dog
I haven't seen the 1st one but I love these not scary 80s movies. I totally recognize the actors but not the names in intro. The jokes, because they play it straight lol Thanks for posting. It reminds me of Dallas TX with the paddle boats in the lake.
Weird ending
I was so traumatised by this as a child, that I completely forgot how poignant the ending was. I shed a tear.
Beautiful doggie too
A kind of schoolgirl adventure made almost adult by an unpretentious and serious approach. The nun with the gun was like James Bond in a habit.
Love all the cats ❤❤❤
No.mention of the couple who took the wife to the clinic helping to save her life too.
A Wonderful.Adaption of Lady Antonia Frasers Fantastic Jemima Shore book and Maria Aitken is superb as Jemima,as wears the Marvellous Patricia Hodge in the TV Series😊
Strange. Who was the girl who walked quickly...?
This one made a change from the usual. Thank you, great to watch the old style TV, they are the best.
This is brilliantly done. A highly unusual story where not for one moment are you given to suspect you know what's coming next. It is far too subtle for that, and that's what makes it gripping. And this is done by avoiding cliches.
interesting to see how much taxpayer money goes to cleaning up after parasites
Smart child, thanks
looking for Sunday night thrillers, anyone can send a link here? or DVD?
Just enjoyed
The story is just awesome ❤
Very informative ❤
Glad to watched this ❤
Worth watching because Ian McShane is so cool. The story however just seems to meander slowly into nothing in the end. Shame really cos it's pretty to look at.
I remember this series on telly as a kid. Didn't really watch it back then. It's been good watching it now. Better than what's on TV at the moment
He runs the dog over and then he yells that the dog could have killed him?
