    Great episode. I've never accepted the "outside agitators" argument as valid, myself. If people stand up and say something that resonates with people around them, it shouldn't matter where they're from. It demonstrates a confusing and bizarre lack of empathy to act like people aren't allowed to support a cause if it's not in their backyard, as if you couldn't possibly care about anything that doesn't directly affect you. And beyond that, it's often completely false on its face. Natives are accused of being outsiders *because* of their views; it's a No True Scotsman kind of fallacy.

    True intersex / DSD is rare (not 1/100). Ambiguous genitalia seldom rises to the level of a woman having testicles or a man having ovaries is aprox 1/10000. The African woman that had this anomaly was producing testosterone levels that would be banned in woman’s sports. Many people are born with anomalies or just normo biology that make it impossible to participate in the Olympics. Only 1/100,000 people have the biological traits needed to be competitive. Something as basic as height or sight are practical barriers to entry. I don’t know where to draw the line but a person with testicular structures producing testosterone seems like a line that is not difficult to draw. It’s biology that is related to gender but in these rare cases can we be reasonable about certain sports and eligibility? There are many things this woman can do that does not involved regulated sports and sports records. Educating people on intersex anomalies is more important than gender “self identification”. Seeing a female boxer rumbled & beaten by a transitioned male seems wrong. Gender is more than XX or XY. Many men lose their Y chromosome as they age. Thanks for raising a difficult issue. If we take out the political aspect & bigotry/bias on all sides; we will achieve a rational solution. Testing is needed for drugs & gender. It is also an invasion of privacy that we accept when entering sports. DSD & intersex babies & adults face challenges; let’s not make them worse. Most people would like to have privacy.

    If Arab Americans vote for Trump, they will have a voice in stopping the killing. The GOP is now the party of stopping war. I agree that both parties have not earned the Palestinian vote. If elected, Trump likely will stop the killing & take the Michigan Arab vote seriously. Iran is the problem & Biden/Harris appeasement fuels Israel’s aggression. What do others think? Arab American's are concerned about the abuse of the Patriot Act, alleged FBI involvement in the Kidnapping of our Governor, and civil liberties under Biden / Harris. If we agree both parties are influenced by Israel; Iran's regime is destabilizing to Sunni states & Arab nations. The amount of dead & injured is unconscionable! Iran is creating the path for Israel to 'defend itself. Many Arab Americans believe Trump will stop the killing in Gaza, Lebanon & Ukraine/Russia. The moral & social issues of Republicans are more aligned with Arab Americans. Stop the Killing!!!

    Baldwin lacked an understanding of Middle East politics, culture, and the drive by Arabs to destroy the Jewish state. The two state solution was a western proposal supported by Israel , but rejected by the Arabs. Baldwin inserted what is probably his experience of Jim Crow in America and segregation rather than examine Israel and the conflict in a historical and fact based study. There is no comparison to America.

    Hamas purposely uses civilians as human shields, but even with that these Israelis have been able to minimize those losses on a two to one ratio, which is even better than the United States in Iraq, which was three or four to one ratio. But Hamas deliberately uses civilians to promote their cause They have a strategy of using the dead to promote their cause, a rather cynical and evil approach. Hamas deliberately attacked civilians in Israel, taking over 200 prisoners some as young as six months old some is old is 85. remember Hamas, the leadership of the Palestinians in Gaza started a war. They have to take full responsibility for their actions, when you start a war, you get war, and there are always victims.

  • @johndunne7900
    @johndunne7900 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

    When you subtract factual history and add fictional drama, you get what Baldwin is saying. Israel is surrounded by enemies, it is a state made up of an ethnic minority called Jews living in a state of , 10,000 mi.² as opposed to over 6,000,00 0 mi.² of Arab states The Arabs were offered a state in mandatory Palestine in 1947 prior to that in 1937. They refused and went to war with the Jews. In 1929 the city of Hebron was ethically cleansed of Jews by the Arabs, from 1940 until 1960 almost 900,000 Jews, who lived in Arab countries were forced out And expelled, but found refuge in the state of Israel. Israel is the home of 2 million Arabs some are Supreme Court justices. There are Arabs who are head of banks in Israel, the Arabs also participate in civil society, fully protected under the laws of the state. The same protection was never given to Jews, who lived in Arab countries, nor are the Jews protected even under agreements between Arabs and Jews, such as the Oslo accords. in 2022 Arabs were part of a coalition government which ruled Israel. The facts are often misapplied when you approach a subject from a fictional standpoint and add a personal outlook, which comes mostly from another country that being America and apply it to a country in which the author has no knowledge and little respect for the facts. Baldwin gives a pass to the Palestinians, as if they were little children instead of responsible adult adults who can make choices. Most of those choices have been wrong. They have chosen terrorism instead of peace and have rejected peace plans coming from the Oslo accords to the Clinton parameters

    White Latino's and Hispanics are genetically white Eurasians who share the same phenotype as white people. Once they adapt to white America's culture, communities and racist white America's education system... they become indoctrinated and full-fledge comrades of white Americans and their covert ,anti- Black system and policies. That is not only true of America, but also throughout Central and South America, where the majority white Latino and Hispanic leaders and countries marginalize and keep Afro-Latinos at the bottom of the socio-economic ladder. Generally speaking, aside from language and subtle differences of skin tone, there is little difference between white Latinos, white Hispanics and white Americans neither their ideologies, when it comes to Black people. That is not to say that all white Latinos and Hispanics are racist..but the overwhelming majority are anti-Black racist.

      But that only works if no one in your family is here illegally. Otherwise, you're putting in motion the seeds of your own families destruction since whoever is illegal could very easily be deported. Also, it works, if you've never had anyone tell you that you should go home to Mexico, even though you were born here. That happened to me. hat was something that had to be explained to my kid sister. We were under 15 years of age at the time. I also saw something similar with a cousin in law of Vietnamese heritage. She doesn't blend, in any way, shape, or form, but she was shall we say, Trump curious. Well Covid arrives, and all the awful anti Asian things that were being said. I told her bluntly "To those people, you will never be an American, because you're the wrong ethnic group, and you're not blonde and blue eyed. And Vivek Ramaswamy is finding that out. At the Republican party he was told he wasn't a real republican because he was Indian. And that person also told him she wouldn't vote for him because she's Indian. The person who said that to him was the wonderful Anne Coulter. She's most definitely not the only one who feels that way in the Republican party.

    What a great interview! I have heard Paola Ramos a few times on MSNBC so thought I'd see if there was anything more on YT ... jackpot! My mind and heart tell me Latinos are going to be hurt and left out again if Trump is elected and that thought is makes me feel a bit ill. I have so many thoughts and not enough space to write them all. Thank you.

    I’m so happy that I found this. I was just diagnosed with Bipolar 2 at 38. But ever since about the age of 18 or 19, I knew something was wrong. I had been to soooo many doctors before then, and was told I was just going through the motions of life. I was told I was a strong black woman and that I would get through it. But in reality I was afraid. The recent events in my life over the last years, has only intensified my Bipolar 2. Being a mother of 3 teens, I am afraid of what I have passed down to my kids.
