    I have a 2013 A5 and your video is the only one that have seen that shows removing the low beam bulb when there is no retainer clip to rotate. Just twist the bulb to the left to remove, then to the right to reinstall the new bulb. I have the exact same original bulb. It does seem that every bulb replacement video shows variations in removing the light housing, even for year and model the same as mine. Also, determining the best replacement bulb has been a challenge. I see you replaced the Philips XenStart 9285 335 244 (D3S 35W) with the HID XENON 9285 161 296 (D3 35W/55W) bulb.

      Unlikely but maybe. Misfires most commonly happen as a result of a bad spark plug or bad fuel. Id check those first so you don’t spend too much for an o2 sensor and find out it wasn’t the issue

    I have the P0420 code coming up, do I need to replace both oxygen sensors?

    • @yoys1333
      @yoys1333 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's most likely the upstream or front (Bank 1) sensor, but you could replace both if you'd like to. It'll just be a little more expensive. Or you could try replacing one at a time and then clear the codes. Then if the code doesn't come back you should be good! :)

    • @laynezwrld9861
      @laynezwrld9861 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Could it be the cat? Replaced the upstream and nothing. Got cataclean but don’t know if it’ll help

    • @yoys1333
      @yoys1333 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s unfortunate to hear :( let me know if cataclean fixes it. If it’s the catalytic converter it’ll be an expensive fix. What’s your odometer at btw? And do you have oil or coolant leaks? (Do you have to refill them regularly? It would usually give you a warning when either the coolant or oil is getting low)

    • @laynezwrld9861
      @laynezwrld9861 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yoys no leaking and it’s at 84k it’s running good and it’s up on oil. Little bit of an exhaust smell lately so idk what’s up with it. I’ll be putting in the cataclean soon within the next day or two

    • @yoys1333
      @yoys1333 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @LaynezWrld That’s quite unusual for 84k and no leaks. Maybe it was something in a recent gas fill up or the cats gone really early. Sounds good I’m hoping the catclean helps

    Hi friend, I’m frustrated with my B8 I keep getting that the upstream sensor malfunction problem with solenoid adjuster 4. I just changed both of them and also made sure electrical connections were okay. Would you happen to know if the downstream sensor you changed could resolve most issues? I know that if one thing is bad it lights up other things that could be okay. Thank you

    • @yoys1333
      @yoys1333 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there friend! What's the error code you're getting? I replaced both oxygen sensors and then reset the error codes in the OBD scanner to get rid of the engine light. The error codes stay in the computer's memory until you reset it through the OBD scanner. You can try resetting the error codes and see if your error comes back. If it comes back after using the car again that means the issue lies in another part. Hope that helps! :)
