On 2/21/2015, US SQUASH President Kevin Klipstein visited The T Squash Academy to celebrate our recent merger with The Cincinnati Sports Club and our new 501c3 status. He described The T as being "on the leading edge of the development of the sport." Nice to hear!

We challenge Kids at The T Squash Academy to complete this 8 cone exercise with precise footwork in less than 20 seconds. When they succeed, they make a video and issue the challenge to another teammate.
The T Square Challenge

It's not exactly a square, but it is challenging. This footwork drill is designed to develop first step quickness and build capacity to make small adjuster steps on the go. Both are critical for good squash movers. We challenge the kids to break 20 seconds while still keeping their form. These 3 all broke 15! Are you up for the T Square Challenge?

The T's Junior Squash League

On Saturdays and Sundays, The T Squash Academy hosts junior squash league play. The Fall session begins with intro to individual match play via round robin format. By Winter session the children are ready for the team style format. Here's a slice of the action from this past weekend. Lots of fun.
'Z' issues a T Challenge

At The T we have the tradition of skill circuits: isolated skill sets that children perform on their way to mastering the sport. Once they master a given skill set, they can issue a T Challenge to one of their peers. Here is Alexander (aka 'Z') laying down the challenge to Siddharth. 10 rails; 10 stars; 10 serves.

This video was made to commemorate our Grand Opening and to show to our region (Cincinnati, OH) what team squash can look like at the grade school level. Zak Morgan, gifted children's musician, was in the house and did a beautiful job!
