Did you know it takes at least seven days to make ice for the Golden & District Recreation Centre arena? Over the course of seven days and over 60 hours of work, Town of Golden staff flooded the ice more than 20 times by hand, spent two days of painting the ice white and putting in the lines, and spent a half day putting in the advertisements with the help of the Golden Rockets and volunteers.
