@@Legalizeranch420 the white FlatFace BRR editions was my first pair and they are just an overall smaller sized wheel, and no I haven't tried any G8s yet

I never had a pair of j4s but these are easily the smoothest wheels I ever used.

I just ordered the bloody variant on eBay and what you said about opening it i was debating heavily on whether I should open it or not due to how rare it is cause I saw it in person back in 05 or 06 when I was younger but got the blue suit instead nice video tho bro!
Just an fyi Mike doesn’t make his decks like he used to he has someone else make em and then he sells em on his website I got a g15 28mm like a year ago and I don’t remember exactly who did em but I remember Mike giving him a lil shoutout for helping

@@webbed-head yea sorry if I came off rude in any way just throwing it out there cuz I was shocked when I found out lol but it makes sense cuz his drops are usually huge lol and ik his fav method is using a belt sander instead of a router so it takes wayyyy longer
Yeah that's why I got a G16 Blem. Not gonna pay full fee if not hand made like it used to be. Still dig em. Got 2 G15s and one G15.12 too but yeah Mike's not making them himself and probably hasn't in years especially with fingerboarding on the rise again. I doubt Blackriver has a one person shop either. I finally got a 7 ply from them. I did get a Goo LTD deck finally and love it. I think Goo is all handmade himself outside of the graphics. DOH is another one. I got one of his decks and it's nice.
Mike does make his own boards lol . He literally posts on his stories him dying his own plies unlike back in the day someone used to send him those . He has help from his gf and family I assume but he’s nt out sourcing from China lol. He posts vids of him hand sanding and shaping decks
@@WeSkatePN Of course he still makes some and of course he's going to post videos for the public to see him doing it. He's gotta make money. If he showed a video of his decks being mass produced not by him how's that going to look? He's made enough money that a whole team works on them now. Mike himself admitted this on his interview or podcast years ago. I just wish he look over his decks because I got a G16 hand dyed and it's more a blem. Dark spot in the wood that's chipped and the holes have black paint leaking around them. Most of the new decks in screenshots you can see the same black drip around the holes. My 22 dollar deck from D'OH has none of these issues and was half the price and more. But Flatface site ships fast and I like them. Not knocking as I have 5-6 Flatface decks.
