TH-cam likes to promote videos that are under 8 minutes. So if you cut down tips and trick videos to the bare essential and make them as short as you can without loosing important information you will get more views. It's also recommended to do voice over in post, after you have edit the footage. You could easily cut down this to a 3 min video. PS: Good tip though... Keep up the good work.

1:50 larval cores refine into nanites (as does runaway mould) so you threw away free nanites :) Also loot the wheelbarrows in the harmonic camps. They often contain inventory slot upgrades

You mused about Ships cargo limit, _all_ ships can expand their cargo to 120, and their tech to 60 Look up ship scrapping, done right youll earn 10s of thousand of Nanites AND the Upgrade Doobreys that expand your slots for free, and if youre really clever it wont cost you a penny of units, plenty of videos about it, few years old but still works To be clear, im not saying its the fastest way to get Nanites, im saying youll get dozens of upgrades for slots as well as lots and lots of Nanites

Now I can sit with the boys in vr, fishing for hours and telling old stories. After fishing for a while, go back to our ships and find another planet where we can fish in peace.

I'm a 65yr old man kind of new to gaming and I just got this game. I'm in no way ready to try this but I did enjoy the content and I hope to be able to try this in the next few weeks. Thx for sharing your tips with the rest of us.

Sentinel ships are a great method for lots of units, but it gets kind of boring and makes everything else seem silly. I almost wish they hadn’t made them so valuable. 🤷🏻‍♂️

You can do more than 50k per hour, honestly. Once you have about 5+ pirate stations in your teleport list, you can just teleport from one to the next. Buy all the upgrades, open and sell them. Then teleport to the next. If you have about 5 or 6, you can then go back to the first and it should have restocked by now. Then you can keep that up for hours if you want. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Shpuld be way more than 50k per hour once you get good at it. I’ve upgraded from B class to S class this way very quickly. 👍🏻 I sometimes even write down the station names on a list so I can keep track of which order I go in. 👍🏻

deleted my comment by mistake. good video dude, me likey, I only have like 100 odd hours so far and damn nanites, I found on the space stations, as your standing increases you get better discounts up to 50% you can buy upgrades and sell them straight back for a 50% profit, buy one for 20 sell for 30 immediately, can make 500-700 nanites per counter at 50% discount. It does feel like an exploit though, ngl.

I’ve been scrapping crashed sentinel ships and making around 20 million per ship. It’s quick too.

hey man, Incase you didnt know when you exit your ship it makes an auto save so when you got that 1st question wrong you can reload last save and pick the other answer. Love the look of your ship by the way

Sorry if I missed it, but how do you know when to go to red/blue/yellow systems to buy/sell?

Just letting you know, when turning in your scans for nanites, you don't have to click on each one. After collecting the reward for getting all animals just back out a couple or screens and you will see the planet. On the left side is an arrow pointing up that allows you to upload all scans made.

it seems like they've made finding all creatures a lot easier than it used to be. it used to take a while for most planets, instead of minutes. underground still suck, tho

If you wants easy money at the start of a playthrough, follow the tuturial mission line. Collect at least 10 more buried tech than you need for the missions. When you land at the anomaly for the first time, get th foodprocessor at the shops in the back (the stand between the ship and suit uopgrades). Built that food processor and carry it with you. Shoot animals, process the meat into stews (use 2 slots in for meatparts). The stews are worth a pretty penny. Also: when walking around, use the scanner often. scan everything, plants, animals, rocks. That gives you units (get scanupgrades at the space station, s-class is best). Upload them via your discovery page for extra nanites. If you find curious deposits, you are in luck. those'pokemon balls' can be shot with a mining laser and refined in nanites. Save and reload for resetting the balls.

i just grind sentinel ships, if you sell them you can get anywhere from 20 to up to 60mil and you can also get chips to upgrade your ships

There was a glitch a while back, i made billions, but then it ruined the game for me

Easiest way for me is going to a dissonant planet, destroying a Dissonance Resonator, getting and using the Echo Locator that the Resonator drops, then going to the Harmonic Camp, claiming it as a base, using the Harmonic Interface to find a crashed Sentinel Interceptor, then claim and salvage it. Finally, go back to the Harmonic Interface and repeat as many times as you want. You’ll get between 20 and 30 million per salvaged ship. EDIT: I comment before watching the video. Just finished watching and noticed you already did the same thing I suggested. 🤦🏻‍♂️😆

went from 30 mil to 72 mil in an hour by trading supplies in the space stations. I try to have at lease 20 systems to trade around.

Nice video! As a new player to NMS it’s nice seeing how trading is done even if it is abit tedious seeing the credits go up is satisfying!

Easy money, early game: shoot animals, use the food processor to turn the meat en mordite into stews. collect oxygen an d a bit of salt or chlorine, use a refiner to turn salt into chlorine, and chlorine into more chlorine. Use nav dat to get maps for emergence/crashed ship sites. if you find a a-class or better, put a savebeacon or base there. grab and scratch ship, saven and reload, grab and crash, save reloiad, repeat. Easy way to get ninites too. Look for running mould balls on the planet, they are on slopres and look green/reddish pokemon balls. A group of 5 is already good. Build a base, including refiners and savebeacon. Shoot balls, running mould turns into nanites in a refiner. Save, reload, get rich on nanites.

I'm predicting, before watching the video, that you gonna maaaaaaake................ Millions in this video. Small tipp: if you want a great ship, fight some Sentinels until you take down an Interceptor ship. Just fill your repository with Sodium to recharge your shield during fight.

If you're doing the Expedition, just cook all the rancid flesh you get from the biological horrors you liquidate. Easy money. Now if only the game had a personal nutrition processor to do it on the run like you can do with the refiner...

I’ve never tried the trade routes, it seems very hands on. Looks practical though. I maxed out my scanner upgrades, I planet hop and scan for money, millions every time I land on a planet

My secret are sentinel ships, they are worth a few millions per ship. Look for dissonant systems and scan for a planet with dissonance, once landed look for dissonance resonators (big machinery things that are protected by a group of drones) when you destroy the resonators they have a small chance of dropping echo resonator that leads you to a harmonic camp. There you encode the harmonic interface and can then scan for a sentinel ship, before you leave the camp, set yourself a marker on that camp, as you can always return and do another scan if you collected the ship. Collect as many as you want and salvage them at a space station, prices vary from 10mil to 50mil per ship.
