Honestly I've never shipped them from the beginning. I think they didn't get enough time together for me to ship them. The way he was kind of beaten down in the first movie by gwen and the rest of the spidergang and then betrayed in the second movie leaves a bad taste in my mouth despite the good moments. Miles was a kid desperate for a friend being in his spiderman era and I think he would've fallen for any cute spider-girl around his age as we see with Margo. He intially thinks that "we're the same" but when canon events are revealed to him he finds out that's not true. In the end they'll be together because of "the canon" and not because of chemistry.

Even though as an anomoly miles had no where to go while in earth 42 this wouldn't have happened if he hadn't been given powers from that spider none of this would have happened everyone didn't like it by keeping secrets like Yuma did to Astral

Great video, I think it’s really interesting the connection between miles and Gwen. I want to make three points that really caught my eye. Every universe has a story in this franchise but every universe is different because there is different Spider-Man/spider women or one universe can be like in the past like spider man noir or Peni Parker and Miguel in the future. But mostly the reason why every world can be different is because when the Peter variations glitched as they were in earth 1610 so much because there was already a Peter Parker that died and u can’t replace a variant someone that died because it disrupts the time line and leads to multiverse casualties. But looking at Gwen there is no variant of her in miles world just like there is no variation of miles in her world. And it shows why they miss each other because they both never met anyone like each other which shows the longing/ missing in ATSV. It also means they can stay longer in both their worlds than the Peter Parker variants as earth-65 and 1610 already had a Peter Parker that died. The second is that when we look at what Gwen’s last words to miles she said so long Spider-Man and what she said when she wanted to have this web sling date with miles she also said is Spider-Man grounded. The reason why I’m saying both of these is because it goes by the Gwen Stacy canon event and could’ve said it differently but she said that Gwen Stacy falls for Spider-Man. Throughout this franchise Gwen describes miles as the only friend she made since Peter died and also she is stating like she has found her Spider-Man which is miles but she is scared it’s not going to end well. Third point is this when we look at the clock tower scene I see that miles and Gwen’s theme kinda mix together. But when we see that Gwen was looking at the city upside down. There is this physical barrier between each other which shows that they are from different words. But when miles also goes upside to comfort her. The city is not upside down because she is seeing a new perspective or direction. Now this is a question that should be answered. I don’t think Gwen Stacy saying this because miles has two identities. When Gwen Stacy describes miles as Spider-Man while asking him to go out on the date. THIS IS THE QUESTION, IS IT BECAUSE GWEN STACY DEEP DOWN IN HER HEART BELIEVES MILES IS NOT A MISTAKE. AND SHE TRULY SEES THAT MILES IS SPIDER-MAN NO MATTER WHAT THE OTHERS HAVE SAID ABOUT HIM IN THE SPIDER SOCIETY.
