So from what i'm understanding is you created your basic pattern pieces using the draping method, put ALOT of boning and velvet strips wherever you wanted, hand stiched the ruching over the bust region, hand sewed lace appliqués, added a waist stay on the inside, and put closures on the back?

What stitch is that called? It's so beautiful!
