Taylor Swift Eras Tour Vlog - Vancouver Night 2
Had the best weekend in Vancouver to see Taylor Swift on her last stop of the Eras Tour. We started off the trip going to Joe Fortes for some seafood and then walked around Stanley park. Vancouver put up song title signs all over the city which we also tried to see a couple of! Then we headed to the capilano suspension bridge which had been decked out in a Taylor’s Verison them.
Of course the highlight was seeing Taylor Swift on Saturday. She was incredible. For the suprise songs she brought out Gracie Abrams for the last time to sing a mash up of I Love You I’m Sorry x Last Kiss. Then the suprise song on piano was Torture Poets Department x Maroon.
Let me know what your favourite moment of the Eras tour was in the comments below :)

    Good video. I just completed my 5th detach surgery 7 months ago, it just kept detaching. (Left eye) I do have the buckle from the 3rd surgery. My retina is attached now, my vision is still distorted. My right eye detached 4 years ago, first operation fixed it. I’m 70 yrs old now, but still surfing. My depth perception isn’t good yet. My brain isn’t picking up both eyes working together yet, but it will in the future I know. I drive with one eye mostly, I’m so use to it. God Bless, you will get better. A side effect of the operation for retinal tear, buckle, gas etc will be a cataract. Removal of the cataract and install of a new lens will improve your vision. A buckle can be uncomfortable as the weather changes (temp and air pressure). Be aware your other eye may also give you a problem soon. Emergency gas and lasering is less traumatic than buckle and full gas…..that my experience

    • @Wilbargosh
      @Wilbargosh 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ Buckle provide support around eye permanently. The gas provides temporary support to allow the retina to reattach and lazer is used to stitch the tear. All this is done at the same time. Once the eye heals and the gas bubble dissolves, eye sight could be different and followup cataract surgery will be required to replace the lens.

    Thanks for posting your experience having a detached retina. This post was 10 months ago and wondering how you're doing at this time being January 2025 ? My husband just went through the same thing and currently in his 2nd week of recovery from having the surgery Jan. 1 , 2025.....yes....New Years Day. He is going through many of the same things you posted in prior video's so I guess this scenario is pretty commonplace. Thanks again for posting the videos .♥ Wishing you all the best also.

    Sad part there are new technologies in other countries, China & South Korea that seem to have a more modern solution with less trauma to the eye for RD repairs.. & are still a few years out here in the USA. A small laser repair for a tear is preferable to avoid an detachment. I had PVD for over a year which decoyed me enough to ignore a larger floater big mistake... 3 weeks went by before I realized the floater was a critical rd issue not just a usual floater. Suffered PVR 5 weeks out after first rd surgery Have good vision in my surgery eye despite re rd & scar tissue, the SIO helped stop the damage so I am stable until I have the second surgery to do SB & laser. Fun times. Enjoying the PTSD day by day. No one wants to go blind.

    Thanks so much for sharing your eye story. I'm going through very similar things - from September 2024 to Dec 2024 - I've now had 3 surgeries - with the last one being the buckle. Seeing exactly what you're talking about ;) Looks like your right eye is looking like an eye. I'm finding my eye lid is droopy since I also close my injured eye so I can see better with my good eye. I was wondering if you did any eye exercises for the droopy eyelid... or if that just starts to become normal? I'm so sorry you had to go through this at such a young age! I'm 61. BTW - People ask what my vision looks like and I've come up with the answer: Picasso does finger art with vaseline on glass .... kinda groovy :)

    I had a horseshoe retinitier and they did laser surgery on my right eye . if there were the laser surgery he said that you would see a little dim out that one eye for a few minutes and then it would go away and fade and it did . only asked for a couple of seconds . after the laser surgery for one or two days I felt like there was something in my eye like some seeing or something like that but not it just felt like when you have an eyelash in your eye . I put a cold rag on my right eye for about 2 or 3 days that feeling of having an eyelash in your eye or something in your eye subsided in 1 to 2 days . I didn't have any swelling or anything like that and I wasn't in pain afterwards when I went back home . After the surgery when I went in the waiting room the doctor said that you would feel like you would have a headache and that was about it and then when I went home that's decided I just went to go lay down for the rest of the day and I got up and felt like a little bit better no headache at all that went away it just felt like there was like a little speck in my eye . but as I said I put a cold wash rag on my right eye and within a few days that feeling went away . and the doctor just didn't tell me anything like ain't no dues or nonsense or anything like that he just said go about your normal life just don't go scuba diving or swimming but other than that I was okay

    When do all the redness go away? I’m four months post surgery but my eye still have a little redness. It always looks like it’s a little irritated. It doesn’t hurt. I’m seeing ok out of it. So , if she split everything with her friend and still spent 3K, that means 6K / mo for a couple. 72K *after taxes* with zero money put away for savings or vacations etc. The median household income in Toronto after taxes is $65,500 that's for the entire household ! All this increase in costs has happened since 2016. During that time, food packages shrunk, housing skyrocketed and wages stagnated.
