Anyone we sell has to be replaced by someone who is better for Emery’s system. I think we shouldn’t be disappointed if we see someone like Luiz leaving for £50 million and a £20 million replacement coming in as they may suit the system better. If you would have said we are selling Ramsey for £30 million and replacing him with Rogers for £8 million we would think that is a step backwards but we know in reality it isn’t. I think Ramsey & Luiz represent great profit as Ramsey was an academy product and Luiz was £15 million. As a “no way it would never happen” McGinn is also great profit and Man Utd have always been looking from a far.

Look lf the Club gets £80-£100m for him they would be mad not to sell him and £30-£40m for Ramsey same same. That right there alleviates all worrys about financials where we can move on and build for the future👍

Ramsey possibly has a higher ceiling as a footballer but different position and more replaceable right now. Don't want to sell him but if it's a choice We know we can get top 4 without Ramsey. I don't see PSG loaning him out. He's 21 now, has numbers like that so surely he's due 1st team football at PSG now. Even if they thought he still needed to develope before being ready for the top, top games, they're playing and dominating in the French league. He could easily play most games in that league. Why would you send him to the PL? Got me dreaming but I just don't see the reality where this happens. Also of note though: He is only on €30,000 pw, so PSG would likely see no reason why they should contribute to his wages and it shouldn't affect us too much anyway. Though I would worry about the loan fee. PSG would simply assume a PL club can and should pay a decent chunk.

We would not spend that kinda money atm. I dont think its even feasible unless we sell lots and anyone we want to sell wouldnt bring anywhere near what we need

It's not going to happen quite frankly it's not a priority area to spend that amount of money currently for the backline this is what I would do sell Digne bring in Hermoso covers both CB and LB plus we could also shift Pau a bit further forward into midfield effectively like Zinchenko. I like Digne but that wage is ridiculous plus we got Sousa to provide additional cover for the LB area. Sell Carlos and Chambers bring in Osho and a RB it's looking like our main target in that area is Dumfries which is probably more realistic then the one I would want in Frimpong whilst still being class. The fees we get for players being sold effectively would cover the signings mentioned because of the amortsation rules which just frees up funds to spend in more priority areas like a DM.

And then yer Chelseas, Citeh, liverpool etc will butt in and buy him as usual. Same old tactic, take the player off the market, stick them on the bench, but in realty stop your rivals strengthening their squads.
