Chief Fosanoh is right about one thing: He was ready to step down, but not without choosing his successor. He organized an election in which members were nominated, including his own candidate for president. However, just an hour before the election, he decided to postpone it, claiming that all candidates needed time to develop their campaign plans and articulate their action programs for NWACUDA USA. Interestingly, no one voiced any objections about being unprepared to campaign. His decision to delay the election came shortly after he learned about Article III Section 1 B of our bylaws, which states, "Candidates must be present to be elected." Since his chosen candidate couldn’t attend the meeting, he opted to postpone the election. When we attempted to question his decision, he remained silent. Despite this, we unanimously agreed to proceed with the election as originally scheduled, which was conducted fairly and openly. For him to claim he is ready to dialogue matters now is ironic, as we have been trying to engage him in conversation for the past four months without success. All we need from him right now is for him to provide the organization account and all its funds.
