Thank you! I would love additional suggestions for games you would think would work well for this type of video from those eras!

@@ShaymusArinSleeps half life, pac man world, sly cooper, ratchet and clank, dog's life (maybe only nostalgic for a small percentage of people but easily has some of the best chill ambient spaces in games as a whole imo), final fantasy 7-12, kingdom hearts, hell i would bet some of the ambience in "the thing" could be relaxing when stripped of musical context, there's a fair few shooters with some really well designed ambience such as the early battlefield, call of duty and metal of honor games but also some of the old arena shooters such as quake, ut and i'd bet even early cs has some beautiful compressed 16 bit ambience in there, I'd also be willing to bet racing games might have some complex ambience, then there's a whole goldmine in nintendo's ambience, first thing that comes to mind is like windwaker, ac1, mario sunshine. i feel like there's also room for alternative videos where tracks from the area play softly either with or without reverb, maybe some light time stretching or perhaps additional effect such as panning or crossfeed, maybe some sort of surround sound effect, this would work great for the metal gear games and dog's life or sly but i can understand the aversion to possibly incurring dmca claims. may the algorithm bless you and inspiration carry you forward i just know this will be one of my new favorite channels to use when i need to calm down and relax.

Wow, that's quite the list! Some of these I do want to do, especially some nintendo stuff. The funny thing about "The Thing" movie, the Tank Hanger somg from MGS is basically the soundtrack for that movie.

Seriously, I appreciate the comment. It keeps me wanting to do this more when I have the time. Depending on the games, you can usually get away with using music and material from games. I think nintendo might care, but I might have to do a zelda botw or totk Ambiance only videos. I wasn't sure if Metal gear could lend well to it, but a couple of weeks ago I was on my desktop, and I have live wallpaper off of steam, and one of the ones I had playing was a video of the helicopter port in mgs1 with just the wind and snow sounds. And it gave me the idea to make these 2.
