Waiting for the Charger? Here’s Why Coffee Breaks Save the Day!
มุมมอง 57811 วันที่ผ่านมา
One of the quirks of travelling with an EV? Sometimes you just have to wait for the charger. But hey, that's why we have coffee! ☕️ Instead of letting the wait bring us down, we turned it into an extra-long coffee break. There’s something pretty sweet about slowing down and enjoying the moment while the car gets its juice. 🔌 So, a little tip for my fellow EV travellers: always have something to...

As someone studying and living in Frankfurt (Oder) (the real one 😉) it isn't the big sightseeing spots you want to find, but the ones where you can calm down. It is no busy place but a inspirational one.
Who cares about your apartment? We all know the real name of this city is Stettin. We also know the vast majortity of the city is on the LEFT side of the Oder River. You know, supposedly the new and very artificial post World War 2 border between Germany and Poland that Stalin demanded at Potsdam so he could keep the eastern half of Poland he stole in 1939 and also the northern half of East Prussia which was never Russian or Polish. So why does this city now belong to Poland? Stalin. The RAF devastated this city in late July 1944. The cemetery is amazing because much of it is one of the few remaining pre 1945 GERMAN cemeteries that the Communist Polish authorities did not destroy In the 1970s. The early history of this city may be Slavic but for much of its history and population it was Prussian/German, Swedish and even Danish. Apparently this Danish guy does not know? Stettin was the port for the capital of Imperial Germany, Berlin. It was considered a very important city to Prussia and then Germany. Also, many people of GERMAN ancestry immigrated from Stettin and the surrounding areas of the GERMAN province of Pomerania on ships to America and then on to especially Minnesota and Wisconsin in the last half of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Yes, there were Polish immigrants too, but they were not from Stettin or Pomerania because Polish people did not live in Stettin at this time. I am simply stating facts. The Polish people lived in the German provinces of Posen farther south and West Prussia farther east. Those big buildings near the end of the video were built in the 19th century by Germany in the area along the river outside the old city. They survived because they are not in the old city center which was, brutally destroyed by the RAF, the destroyers of Dresden, Konigsberg, and 40 other cities.
Thanks for all the info, I know more than i let on but it's not a history show about the history of Szczecin for that i would recommend something like th-cam.com/video/o-7XkIXhwQs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1GVBJNlqUxib8qXT from Lost Worlds, it's more about what can you experience in Szczecin and most of my other questions is about the apartments that is why i changed it up. this time

What did he say to insult the king?
Sorry about the looong reply time i have been looking all over and the account of what he did is difficult to find out. But here it is, In 1656, he wrote a letter to his lover Sophie Abelsdatter, a maidservant at Rantzausholm. In the letter, he mentioned how Queen Sophie Amalie was intimate with her lackeys. Through Kai Lykke's intervention, Sophie Abelsdatter married his bailiff at Rantzausholm - Peter Børting. Peter Børting became aware of the letter. On May 1, 1661, Kai Lykke dismissed him as bailiff due to irregularities in the accounting books. Peter Børting informed the king about the letter and its contents. Kai Lykke confessed his wrongdoing and reached a settlement: he was to pay 100,000 rigsdaler. A few months later, Kai Lykke fled to Scania as he couldn't pay, and the king initiated a lawsuit that found him guilty of lèse-majesté and stripped him of "honor, life, and property." Since he had fled and the sentence could not be carried out, a lifelike effigy was made, which in a mock execution had its hand and head cut off. Lykke's coat of arms was destroyed. All of Kai Lykke's estates and wealth were confiscated by the king.

I don't think your English funny or bad. People who say that probably don't speak English as well as you do and have nothing better to say.
Min far er fra Danmark og det samme er min farmor! Så når jeg taler engelsk, har jeg en meget stærk accent
Men det er accented der skaber en unikhed, og har sin egen charme. Det er i hvermand min filosofi

Yep the higher the speed the more energy is needed
every car is different mate. Go as fast as you can without reving too high in the top gear, whatever that is.
@@JohnnyRoadRunner-rr6qf yeah that’s why I said MY car. It is able to go around 110kmh without losing efficiency. Thank you for your reading comprehension.
Thank you, that's good to know. 😊
Your english sounds perfectly fine! Most (decent) americans really do not mind at all when someone has a strong accent- and it might be because we have so many different accents from so many different places here haha
Your English is great. Yes you have an accent but your English is still very clear. Everyone can understand what you’re saying. I don’t see a problem with having a slight accent. Danish people always leave passive aggressive comments on TH-camrs’ videos whether they’re trying to speak Danish or English, they’re always criticizing the accent as if their accents were flawless when speaking English. Bunch of moronic, pedantic hypocrites.
