I think it's safe to assume that some people are indeed more viable to becoming resonators than others, maybe due to being victims of a Lament or being near a tacet field, like the village that Scar was born in. Think of it as like being a miasma that permanently alters some peoples genetic makeup, like in Judge Dredd, people whose megablocks are near the walls of the megacities, tend to be more likely to become psychics or others kinds of mutants.

As a very casual player, I usually let people beat my arse on PvP to make themselves feel better. All good. I know my build isn’t great. But I have the power to let others taste victory. The only battle I MUST win is kitty card game in Love and Deepspace… where I battle handsome men as we put chubby kittens into pretty teacup. You forgot echo transformation battling. Such as crownless transformation in illusive realms. They could set it up as a rank-up system to obtain abilities in the pvp and make it like best out of 3 or 5. The parry system is already there and you have to know your echo before hand when you use it to best parry or evade being parried. Just a thought

In order for pvp to work everyone would need to start at 0 Eidolons (sry HSR player here). Eidolons would have to be scattered around the map or obtained by reaching multi kills or certain objectives. It's hard 5o make pvp and pve work cause pve suffers from pvp nerfs. The worst offender for example is Destiny 2 everything just keep getting nerfed, even if it's not a broken loadout.

Trying to beat the crap outta the Lament would be a good community goal Would be even more glorious if there was a community goal that can affect where the story direction could go

Pvp concept: its like the coop hologram event but there is one extra player who is controlling the boss and fighting the other players. Balance would probably be janky but i think its doable

still at the beginning of the video so havent seen it yet but , is not impossible, they would just need to make it a pvp that has a base that everyone start from that is not affected by the the characters , to give some basics ideas, maybe like 4 to 8 types of "classes" that regardless of what hcaracter you have you can choose from , each class maybe is better against some specific or idk could be anything, point is , is not impossible imo

This game doesn't need PVP. The core combat mechanics is not gonna fit. The game is all about timing your movements against your opponent, which are overworld monsters that have TELEGRAPHED attacks. Against a player, its just going to become a button mash fest and that requires no skill. What this game needs are leaderboards. For example, the fastest solo clear time against a boss, or introduce a musuo type content, where you fight a horde of monsters with elites that keep on spawning for 3 minutes and the more you kill, the higher your score. Then make the leaderboards separate per region. Give it a month in order for everyone to try and get better scores. Get the scores posted somewhere online, and allow players to upload their clears there. Rewards will be asterites and sigils related to their ranking. Then you can try to rank the regions against each other and reward the region's players accordingly as well (although most like the CN players are gonna dominate, but I like the idea of players coming together from other regions to take the title of best region in the world) That's the ideal pvp for this game.

FOR ME THO If they gonna add pvp on wuwa why not make another game pvp base with wuwa character 😂, cuz if the add pvp on wuwa i feel like it is a different game

i actually would like a PvP implemented like in HI3 ... there were several brackets in which players could compete with other players with similar skilll/gear You would only compete with those players directly, giving you a fair shot at winning rewards

For me they would have to devide pvp from pve meaning that in pvp everyone would have cap on stats and some different variations on echo abillities only for pvp . So no matter the gear ,echoes etc it would come down to skill and not power lvl . But again the balancing in this game can be very tricky

TOF had pvp and no matter if ur f2p or whale, every character had the same stats, same constellation upgrades, weapon lvl, etc

What about pvp with boss characters? One player can fight as normal characters and the other player fights as a boss (e.g. Crownless).

PVP would be good. However, balancing should be the priority. Either they make 2 types of PVP: one for a free-for-all pvp with all the stats balanced, dupes don't matter, echo stats don't matter. Just pure skill based. Gunners should have their damage reduced. This mode should have a ranking system, as well as asterites as reward. And the second one is a typical pvp for gachas where stats, dupes, etc matter and with rankings, and stuff like that. This mode should also not reward any Asterite, just materials, shell credits, and exclusive sigils.

Why not just do pvp with 2 categories. One has free for all mode where you can use any character eidolons, echoes, weapon etc. and the other category is base mode where everyone can use all weap and char default. Both has their own ranking rewards and refreshable. I think this could solve whale dominating argument I doubt this will happen tho

PVP for fun can be possible but not using the core mechanics. It can be an arcade mini game fighting game with no rewards or probably just achievements. A PVP Echo pokemon battle can be good as well. Instead of PVP, it would be great if they can add hologram for characters instead. Like fighting changli, jinhsi etc. then add leaderboard.

I think we could have echo pvp, like we fight as crownless vs thundering mephis. It wouldn’t be about character kits at all and the bosses already have winding attacks. It’s probably still complicated but I feel like it could work best as a pvp mode with actual combat. Plus it would be really funny to watch
