Ough. Please remove old thermal paste before adding new. Oh, and you don't have to add the paste on both sides of parts going together. One of them is enough. The metal parts have got better heat transfer than the paste. The paste is just there to fill all of the microscopic air gaps.

It would be better to use a single piece copper pad. In terms of connection, I recommend 1 mm or 1.2 mm. You don't need to use too much thermal paste.

This video helped a lot, I kept trying for so long, turns out restarting the server and disconnecting Hetzner GUI console fixes this. Thanks

Toooooooooooooooo much thermal paiste. This is not the way to do it.

Your temp drop is still low. I used copper shims with thin layer of thermal pad (0,5mm) and hitting 75C at full load.

Hi, I realized that the interface you have on the remote access is different from what I have when I access. There is no interface for me to add a remote terminal like you do. I always would have to go to support and click on a share screen. May I know what is required to get the same GUI as you shown in the video.

I don't think it will work if you're running Ubuntu 16 and 32 bit. .

Thank you for the wonderful information. I normally access Ubuntu Linux using tools like R-HUB remote support servers or logmein. I prefer it because these easy to use and work hassle free on all platforms including Ubuntu Linux.

Does chrome Remote Desktop still support Ubuntu? I can’t make my Ubuntu pc remote from other devices.😭
