ROTC students you rock! Thumbs up...we all love the king and also the Thai Army...... I have encountered often that Thai soldiers have helped me during the rainy season, they are courteous, show u the way, assist the elderly, help u when ur car got stuck. Where in the world u find soldiers that assist tourists and speak respectfully. I'm sure ur doing a great job to protect your king and I will emphasize on this again your soldiers are friendly even to foreigners.

i lived in thailand for half a year, and i can tell you now, the thai king is a great person, and i could not think of one bad thing to say about him!.. these guys r right, he has done alot of voluntary work and good for his people.. the thai king even worked on farms and lived how the farmers do, this is one reason why they love him so much! .the king said, to help each other out, eat in the streets, so that you can support one another, that why u see alot of street vendors, everyone has a role

@getamacplease : Richest Monarch in what manner? Thai Monarchy got a long history and all royal treasures pass over by generation to generation. The value of thing is increasing by time especially gold jewellery and properties. He might be richer than other monarchy I this world but he IS NOT the world richest!
