Cochem, Germany travel guide: How to avoid the common day trip mistakes
Our trip began at Eltz Burg, also called Eltz castle, in Germany. This is said to be Rick Steves favorite castle in all of Europe. We then took a 30 minute drive to the city of Cochem, where we got to walk around in the city streets, took the city tour and enjoyed the beauty of the city. The day ended with a trip to the town of Morsdof, where we walked on a suspended bridge. Now, did we do too much? Should we have stayed longer? Where some of the places we visited overrated? I'll be answering all of these questions and more, so you can plan the perfect day trip to Cochem.

Unforgettable Views and Literary Heritage of Étretat in Normandy, France

There is more to Normandy than just WWII memorials. Plenty more, in fact. I recently had the privilege to go spend a day in the north of France, and got to spend a few hours in Étretat. I had never heard of this beautiful coastal town, and was surprised to hear of all the fun history behind this charming place. French impressionist, Claude Monet, has painted over 50 landscape portraits in this ...

Hi there. I'm a regular to Rheinland Pfalz. Lovely video. Thanks for posting. Just a couple of things. The blue insect is a damselfly. The easiest way to tell a damselfly from a dragonfly is that damsels rest with their wings together, dragons with their wings open. Damselflies are more gracie and dragonflies are more robust. WC stands for Water Closet, rather than washing closet. Kind regards Nick

Jonathan, hello. Posted three weeks ago? This video is recent with the castle construction work?

Nice trip...even if it looks a little bit stressy time wise 😅 your pronunciation was very good btw 🙂👍 love the many Fachwerkhäuser (the houses where you can see the wood architecture on the front). Here in Nürnberg we dont have many of them because the city was bombed massive during the war. Thank you for the impressions 👍 One thing to mention: Cochem is not part of south germany (for germans especialy for south germans) it is middle germany. It is easy to remember: everything whats north from Baden-Württemberg, Bayern (Bavaria) and maybe Hessen (it depends on who you are asking) is not south germany. 😁👍 Lookin forward for your next clip ✌️

Where are the guitars? Just joking 😅 Very beautiful area there 👍 i never went to normandy yet. My wife and i wanted to make a france trip marsaille-normandy-paris for our wedding-hollidays...but there still was the pandemic so we never did...but maybe in a few years who knows. The cliffs remind me of the red clifs of Helgoland. We will go to Helgoland for a daytrip in the summer when we do our family holidays at the north sea coast of germany. I am realy exited for it because there are many world war bunkers, too. (I am very interested in history) Nice to see your new channel is starting now. Lookin up for new clips 🙂✌️

I had never heard of Helgoland. I'll have to research it, but it might be in my future videos. 🙂 There are no guitars on this channel, although I did spot a few in shop windows. I'm doing Eltz castle next weekend. That should be fun, too!
