Wetterhorn Peak Class 3 Crux Ascent and Descent Gopro Pov, Summit View
My favorite Climb to date. Solo in the beautiful Juan Mountain range in Colorado. This is a Gopro Pov of the ascent and descent of the Class crux to the summit. All hands on deck, life or death, winner takes all focus levels. Been studying this route for years, felt like I had almost been there before.

My friends and I took the Bright Angels trail down to Plateau Point. 13.3 miles round trip. 3,402 feet of elevation gain. Plateau is an amazing view, the reverse mountain style of the Grand, makes the return to the rim quite challenging.

Devils Tower National Monument by Drone. Shot with Dji Mavic Pro 2 Devil's Tower was the first United States National Monument, established on September 24, 1906, by my all time favorite President Theodore Roosevelt. The man responsible for preserving more wild places for every American than anyone that ever lived. Devils Tower (also known as Bear Lodge Butte) stands 867 feet from summit to base.

Split Rock Lighthouse on Lake Superior by Drone

Built in 1910 on a 133 foot sheer cliff. Considered on of the most picturesque lighthouses in America. Was built in response to the great loss of ships during the famous Mataafa Storm of 1905, in which 29 ships were lost on Lake Superior. Its another Northshore Legend

What a presentation my friend 👏👏
Nice job. Been cool, wanted to see the witch tree (little cedar tree.. you were close twice but the drone was facing north . So close, thank you for sharing
Its illegal to use drones in wilderness areas. Dont do this
Make another drone video of Palisade Head! I love Palisade Head.
Tree
Giants foot 🦶 broken off by the Great flood of the Bible.
Tremendous! I haven't been there in years, but this brings back memories. Beautiful shots.
Thanks man appreciate that. One the best views in Colorado
Nice!!
Parabens pelas imagens!
Beautiful giant petrified tree stump 👍
Nice I like that and can I pay you some money to record me from the drone going to summit again or sitting on the top again please and I’m 12
This is great! Just curious, from where did you launch your drone?
The beach. It's was during Covid last year and no one was around.
Xcellent 👍
Amazing shots, I grew up in silverthorne and always loved seeing the view of Buffalo mountain from all over town
The view of the reservoir is hard to beat from the summit.
top is very interesting but no one shows it clear and long. sad.
Nice view of Isle Royale in the distance.
stunning footage!
Here's the music: Reunite, the Isbells. On Trees and Birds and Fire, I am Oak. Jolene, Ray Lamontagne. That's all i picked up anyway. Could be more i missed. Good tunes choices.
Gorgeous scenery but you've got major gimbal issues
how so?
Practice practice practice, Nice video
That’s a cool shot! What kind of drone did you use?
Really, really nice. Digging all your Northshore vids.
Nice work man. Liked and subbed.
Liked and subbed. I like the vids that you keep to 1 minute. Nicely done. Hit me back for M2P vids from Minnesota.
I just did a video about Bloomington on my channel. You should go check it out :D
With the exception of a few lakes, we took a similar path in the early 70's. Back when Dorothy Molter, aka: "Knife Lake Dorothy", aka: "Root Beer Lady" was still alive on Knife Lake. Getting ice from her on a scorching hot summer day in the middle of nowhere was a real treat...ice that she cut out of the lake during the winter and winched all the way back to her island where she stored it in a sod house. All kinds of birds were landing on her hat and squirrels and chipmunks were crawling up and down her pant legs....she was truly at one with nature. We met her shortly after Life Magazine did a feature on her. See Dorthy: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorothy_Molter Diving off the cliffs at Sunday Lake was also very memorable .....many of the cliffs in your video look similar.....are any of them on Sunday Lake?....if so, could you timestamp it for us? My buddies and I spent decades talking about recreating our journey, but never did. And now, I'm simply too old to even consider it. My advice to all of you is if you want to have this experience or perhaps repeat it....don't wait! Get out there and enjoy nature....give your children a memory they will never, ever forget and they'll have a greater respect for the planet. Thank you for taking me back to a wonderful time.
Amazing view thanks for the video
Fabulous, thank you...
Awe
The good son
You guys never showed us how you caught the fish. LOL I don't blame you.
Bobber fish off shore with leaches and weighted hook... only about 5 feet of line and went in late May
For some first timers on the trip you all look like professionals
Amazing drone shots here Brian!! You should totally share your unreal drone shots over at Airvuz!! AirVuz is one of the best places for viewing and sharing aerial videos on the internet! Go check AirVuz out!!
Giant sequoia are big, but not necessarily the biggest in the world. Some coast redwood discoveries haven't been published yet, but here'a page about a new coastal monolith to bring you up to speed on the realm of big trees >> www.mdvaden.com/redwood_grogans_fault.shtml
I keep watching this.... could you please tell me how the bugs were? I have always gone in Sept. I'm seriously curious as to how they are in May.
I have gone to the boundary waters many times in May, June, and July. I only go late may and early June now because there are little to no bugs (especially mosquitos)and it is much more enjoyable....I went in July once and it felt like I was getting attacked by an army of aliens constantly
Got it- No July! Great, great, GREAT video. I am so happy for you guys and your adventures. Truly envious... but happy.
When I was there in the 70's we were getting eaten alive. I remember wearing two Duluth packs and portaging a canoe over my head with no free hands....the giant blackflies were swarming me and getting tangled in my hair. These fu__ers bit so hard they drew blood.! Looking back, a simple $5 mosquito head net would have made the whole experience more enjoyable.
@@brianbosco9605 I have heard these horror stories... Yes I go almost exclusively in Sept. Basically no bugs. I went last year in August and it wasn't too bad. God bless BWCA...
I'm watcing this again... You guys are very blessed to have a great group of men to do this. My group has been falling apart the last few years, especially after my Uncle has had to throw in the towel, and after losing my dad last year- who introduced me to the BWCA. I have come to truly admire my elder men. They are inspirational. TRUE men of character, that is.
Nice comment Chris Robbins....your just the type guy would love to take along on a two week canoe trip.....let you awaken to the fact that on the 7th morning your all alone and all the gear is gone.
Wow, gorgeous!
Great video guys looks great! We’re going into wood lake this June
Which campsite is that?
Cool video. I subbed. Sub back if you will try and get us smaller channels up to 1000
Be there in 2 weeks
What are you using for bait on your bobbers?? Nice video!
Beautiful video of these wonderful places, amazing the nice views you captured without a number of other people in them.
One of the better vids from bwca!! Good job!! Can't wait to go back next year its been 5 years.
I wish all ads were this good :-) looks like fun. How cold was it? Looks like maybe a little cold for paddle boarding.
Mama's Basecamp it was very cold up there as I went in May. But I have wetsuit bottoms for cold weather paddle boarding.
You all sure know how to squeeze a lot of fun into a weekend. Nice video!
Just got back. Tough weather n lots of may flies but still... Had a great time n caught plenty of fish. Thanks for the vid.. I miss it already. !!
Some really good weather and some really nice fish. Looks like an awesome trip! Thanks for taking us along.
