I remember being around 9 years old and reading this for the first time. It had me hooked all the way, and changed the way I played for a long time. I stood staring at the trees of my world for minutes on end, and sometimes still remember that and do it, just because.

I always beat minecraft with cheats so I skipped because I felt like I wasn't ready to read the poem, but once I finally beat it, I read it and it was honestly such a great poem tbh. Not worth skipping

petition for 2k to release everything on bioshock 2d

This game was my jam when I was a kid and pretty much got me hooked on gaming for life. It absolutely does not hold up without the nostalgia goggles, but it's important gaming history. Also, the sequel is campy but a lot better.

It was Glorious

Half life alpha is light and goofy, Half life beta is dark and gritty.

The show is awesome. As a gamer, I love it. The grifters are all confused, watching each other, trying to figure out which hot take is safe. But nothing is safe in The Wasteland.

My opinion on Maximus: 1. He is playing a young, like 22 year old selfish dude. 2. He has an overarching motivation to get revenge on the people who destroyed his home, while also finding a new home in his life, which is the brotherhood (at first) 3. After he meets Lucy, who saves him and give him her trust multiple times, he starts to fall in love with her and decides he actually doesn’t want/need the brotherhood anymore, but uses it as a tool. 4. He is pretty much a selfish liar who changes his mind every time it benefits him, but deep down he’s just a kid who is learning how to make choices.

I wonder how dreams have changed throughout history. I’m assuming there’s a pretty strong link between visual data and dreams. And I wonder how they were produced in the first place during REM.
