There are always infinite possible explanations for anything. In this case, one very likely and scientifically founded explanation is the accelerating expansion of the fabric of space. As space continues to expand at an increasing rate, cosmological bodies will move away from each other at faster than the speed of light. As this happens, light from distant stars will not be able to reach us because those stars will literally be moving away from us faster than light can travel. We will no longer be able to ever see those stars. If the very fabric of space is and continues to expand at an accelerating rate, our descendants will have a much darker night sky than ours, with no evidence of the once-illuminated night sky except perhaps some ancient records. If you ever find yourself saying _"the only possible explanation is,"_ please realize that reality has far more potential than you're currently giving it credit for.

The Role of Information in the Evolution of Life and its Relationship with the Golden Ratio Abstract The evolution of life has been driven by the increasing capacity for information management and processing. This study employs a mathematical model based on the Golden Ratio to identify potential evolutionary milestones recognized by the scientific community. The results suggest a correlation between evolution and information management, implying that the Golden Ratio may serve as an underlying pattern in evolutionary processes. The mathematical model predicts the occurrence of an evolutionary milestone that has an age similar to one of the ages that science assigns to the universe today, and projects an evolutionary singularity for the year 2045. 1. INTRODUCTION The evolution of life from the Last Universal Common Ancestor (LUCA) [1-6] to the present has been marked by a continuous increase in the capacity for information management and processing. This process has resulted in both biological tools, such as the brain and sensory organs, and extracorporeal tools, like technological devices. The transition from unicellular organisms to complex multicellular life forms, capable of global information transfer, took over three and a half billion years. Analyzing this evolution through the lens of information processing capacity reveals a non-linear pattern over time. From the emergence of LUCA to the development of the brain [7-9], more than three billion years passed. The brains present in many organisms are distinguished by their ability to handle large volumes of information. In humans, the emergence of complex language is associated with the rise of Homo sapiens [10, 11] and has been a key factor in our evolutionary dominance. It is proposed that the anatomical potential to produce and perceive differentiated sounds began with our last common ancestor with Old World monkeys (Cercopithecoidea) around 27 million years ago [12-14], while human language is estimated to be between 100,000 and 300,000 years old. The information age or digital era began in 1950 with the transistor, which has evolved exponentially, facilitating the development of artificial intelligence and digital information processing. Focusing on information management and processing capacity, we can identify five main evolutionary milestones (EM) affecting human ancestors, and the current human being: the beginning of the information management capacity between individuals, by a close descendant of LUCA (DLUCA), an event that would have taken place about 3.8 billion years ago with the environmental propagation of microbial communities carrying cyanobacteria and forming stromatolites [15], the emergence of the brain, the precursor of human language, human language, and the transistor. To evaluate a mathematical model that relates these evolutionary milestones, their ages must be determined, although with limited precision. For each of these milestones, an average age within a time interval based on scientific studies will be used, except for the transistor, a technological device invented in 1947 and first used in a mass consumer product in 1954. Subsequently, the logarithm of each PR value (LPR) was calculated, and the second LPR was divided by the first, and the third by the second, to obtain two values for the logarithmic ratios (LR).
