I like to share the adventure of upper peninsula Michigan through my channel vlog. I have been living 30 years in U.P and now my kids grown up that able to explore freely Upper Peninsula, MI. Keweenaw peninsula is called God's country of Mother of nature. I would love to share of pure Michigan of Hike Trail, Mines, Lake Superior, Historic places, Waterfalls.... I put additional information of trail on video and my goal is inspire and motivate and creative of life.

How gorgeous....Nor much color yet...but color in other areas..We do live in Pure Beauty! Ssooni the water dog!! The Upper Peninsula is bigger than the lower one, and we have only 3% of the population of Michigan. This is just beautiful AGAIN!!

I live in the Keweenaw near Houghton. I love watching these videos. I live by myself I don't really know a lot of people here so it's hard for me to take trails cuz I'm by myself but it's good to see what is around me and try to figure it out

@@brokenenglishhiker if could of shared with me,I'd have been one happy camper lol, it's hard to find good thai,Korean, Chinese food up here,some is not bad in iron mountain, plus lot of the ingredients not in stores,unlike in cities,have order online..
@billanzell5962 yes, it is. My friends go to grocery shopping to Chicago 🥺 I don’t care of much traditional Korean cuisine. I like very simple and plain foods. Lol

Who is your new hiking buddy?? You can drive right up to the top of the mountain...I've been up there a couple of times...it's so cool...years and years ago, a religious bunch went to each state and prayed at the highest point of each state. That's sacred ground! Yep, you gotta sign the book...And if you hit the visitor's center right on the main road at the beginning of L'Anse, they'll fill out a certificate saying you've been on Mt. Arvon. It's cool! And the little place you had lunch, I used to pick the bird feathers and made an Angels Wing out of them!
She moved up to eagle Harbor after retirement, but her husband still working remotely at home so we go hiking Monday in my day off.😊 she is 69 but great shape and high energy. Hike better than I do 😅 We find out we can drive up to the top and yes, it is super cool overlook. It was fun day exploring around. Thank you!! Donna.

Our trip to Mt. Arvon started from Marquette. We turned down the first log trail heading north off the highway. After 45 minutes in lost Satellite. After around 2 hours or so finally found the Mountain (Really Big Hill). Came out on the Barga/Lance side. Our names are in the book kept in the mail box. Beautiful country for sure.
Glad you found the way to get there safely. I took wrong turn and drove up to 4wheeler trail and it was narrow and bumpy, but made up to hill where signs gone down and afterward lots of hiking and exploring and yay!! We made it. Thank you for sharing your journey.💕🌳🌳🌳🌳
