A Basque punk-rock-reggae band, HERTZAINAK, covered the 'TIME HARD' (EVERYDAY) Pioneers' song in the mid 80's, but in The Selecter style, not in The Pioneers style. Hertzainak recorded and played the cover with lyrics in Basque language or "euskara", with a small part left in English. The band titled it as 'Egunero' ("Everyday", in Basque). Qué pena me da tener que escribir esto, en un "delay" de un año, al tropezar hoy con la desagradable sorpresa de ver este video de A Toque, el programa que produjo este material y que fue trasmitido hace treinta años por la otrora Venezolana de Televisión. Ni siquiera se coloca en la descripción origen, registro, ni créditos. Soy Erika Tucker, quien junto a Leonardo Aranguibel y un valioso equipo concebimos entre 1987 y 1991, un espacio alternativo, serio, original y sin competencia cercana, dedicado a difundir entonces a los grupos musicales emergentes del país, entre otras cosas. Me reconforta tener el video en la pulcritud de su originalidad, intacto y a salvo de la indiscriminada barbarie de contenidos actuales. Estimado Willman subir material ajeno como que no es muy ético.
