Constant power outages 😡 and the final Oh My 😮 to the campground.. I'm sorry you couldn't solve the power outage issues but I'm still going to need that refund 😡😂.. Sorry about the kaput that you guys had to deal with 🙁.. Thank you so much for sharing this experience ❤️🙂

We haven’t been to Watkins Glen but have heard a lot of good things about it so it’s on the list! Thanks for sharing! Sorry you had crappy electricity but at least your rig wasn’t damaged.

The good thing about the watch dog is if it gets hit by lightning and stops working you can just take the 4 screws out and replace the circuit board and not have to replace the whole thing.

I really enjoyed that hike when I was there about a year ago. I am glad you enjoyed it.

I'm glad it was easy to get back in the US. I love seeing Watkins Glen, we were just talking about how we miss this area. It's so beautiful! We love kayaking area, I bet that was refreshing after your RV woes!

We have a 2022 East to West Tandara 286RLOK and East to West customer service has stepped up (Grace) a few times for even out of warranty items - Love that! It is so hard to find customer service not just in the RV realm, but every realm these days. We've had some issues - like all RVs have thanks to our not so smooth interstate highways but we have re-engineered repairs that will stand up to the brutal roads. The bedroom sliding door rail at the top fell off as the screws pulled out of the ceiling so we fixed that with a 1x4 that we painted to match the interior to give it support from the floor to better withstand the vertical forces from the roads. We attached the 1x4 using industrial HD Velcro since we didn't want to drill the exterior wall. Works very well. I would recommend a swing door replace this design which would free up space for the TV backing in a more desirable spot to the north/south bed. We had the entertainment wall come off due to some issues with the cabinet carcass that we fixed as well. All in all we've not had any catastrophic failures, and we are very thankful for that. We are very happy with our 5er! We are considering possible fulltime RVing which this floorplan won't work, but we'll see where that goes. If we go fulltime we will have to trade the Tandara for a midbunk floorplan, if we stay part-time we'll hold on to our existing Tandara.
