I have this same chassis in my 1956 Silvertone Metropolitan 21, it had the exact same vertical problem as yours! Great video on this set! Not many people seem to be interested in silvertone which I think is kind of sad. Great sets and pretty well made!
メタル真空管はとても素晴らしいです。👍
I see you have a Blazing Saddles video...excellent choice 🤠
Good job getting it to work that well. I had a Hallicrafters 7 inch TV that was that rusty and I took a dremel tool to it and made it look a lot better.
Thats a rare TV and I'm glad you at least have a full raster on it. I'm curious as to why you used Wima caps.
It's so interesting, but also i like your pfp!!
Ive never heard if an Arvin how cool!
You are doing great enjoyed your video. very kind of you to share knowledge and sharing this. Many thanks
Excellent video. Thank you.
Hello, interesting video, well done. Looks like you shot this on an SD (NTSC) 4x3 single CCD camera? How about a tube camera next time?!!
Excellent job! Great that the new flyback is compatible with the rest of the set! Good luck with the video, good luck with the video, wonder if it could be open peaking coils if not the video output tube or resistors in that circuit.
I don't ever see Arvin TVs and i'm talking about in Facebook CRT groups and subreddits.
I've never even heard of one which means many went to landfills
In the 1970s I took Radio & Television Repair at the local tech college for high school credit. Man, this brings back memories! My first assignment was building a 35Z5 AM radio.
Thank you. Great video. Looking forward to more on this set.
Really Awesome video !
Sweet beautiful cat.
Growing up my grandmother only bought Sears. Her and her husband had good credit with Sears.
When I grew up I got my school clothes my shoes everything from Sears. My dad had some Craftsman tools, had a cold spot deep freeze that never needed any attention for over 40 years except replacing a neon light bulb that let you know the freezer had power and a Kenmore washer and dryer. Oh yeah he had a Craftsman lawn mower. All good quality stuff. It used to be odd to drive to uptown Cincinnati on Reading road to go to the Sears farm store. They didn't have stores in the country at that time you had to go downtown!
Nice find. An oscilloscope with a tuner. That is what we call these sets with no deflexion yoke.
Very nice futureristic Jetsons style TV. The speckled metal case looks to be in great shape. Why would someone do only half of the recap job. ??? Does not make any sense.
Great job you made look easy. Thanks for sharing very kind of you. Appreciate it
