Fails to mention that there is a $27 toll charge to use the road. This price has more than doubled over the last 3 years. I guess if your visitor's center/souvenir shop isn't generating enough $, you try to make up the difference with tolls. Also, don't buy your tickets beforehand. If visibility is poor the day you are in the area, it's a waste of time & $27 to drive to the top to see basically nothing. The toll booth is open 24/7 to buy tickets and the summit is never "full".

Accès hors de prix (pour 5 km il en coûte 25€, et en plus c'est le même prix pour les motos et les voitures !) pour arriver au belvédère !!! D'autant plus qu'on a des tas d'autres belles vues sur ce fjord depuis la route normale ! Nous avons donc soigneusement évité ce qui nous paraît être une belle "arnaque"; il y a assez de vues gratuites et formidables en Norvège.

A couple of days before we opened the road. We opened the road 25th of May that year, so the video is probably for the 20th of May.
@@dalsnibbaviewpoint1729 Every Year or is this different? I book an Aida Cruise and have a Tour to Dalsnibba on May 23th 2020, so i hope that can be occur :/
@@WinterbergerJung89 We open the road as soon as possible, but it is the weather and temperatures that in the end decides when we are able to open the road. We cannot guarantee that we have the road open by the 23th of May, but it is not impossible. Our opening dates the last years: 2019: May 21st, 2018: May 14th, 2017: May 25th, 2016: May 16th, 2015: June 5th.

I visited Dalsnibba and Geiranger last month and was blown away by its magnificent beauty. The weather was clear and sunny and that allowed for awesome views. Truly unforgettable. Thanks for your great video.

I'm going to cycle up this road in summer and then descend to Geiranger fjord 1500 m down. Yupeeee! I love the bicycle.
