A short drone flight over Meziadin River falls and fish ladder, during summer. Lots of salmon jumping, trying to make the near impossible leap of faith up the falls, rather than the provided fishway. lol! What a beautiful place.

We start this episode departing our anchorage in Langley Passage. Arriving at Gillespie channel late, we face strong currents, a narrow rocky channel with a stream of driftwood coming at us. After that harrowing experience we travel to Tuwartz Inlet to anchor for the night and explore the lagoon in the back of the inlet. Got a few drone flights in on this trip so enjoy the views.

On this episode of Commanding the Coast, we explore an island settlement abandoned in the early 2000's. Seems like whoever lived there left in a hurry, so many things left in these decaying buildings and unfortunately has been ransacked. Still many interesting things to see including a wooden board walk, taking us to a helipad and further to a beautiful lake and another abandoned building.

On the first ever episode of Commanding The Coast, we take our 1981 Commander 26, along with our friends in their Commander 30 further than we've ever been before. We depart from Kitimat, refuel in beautiful Hartley bay and continue southwest to Campania Island. We explore a spectacular sandy beach, dingy around viewing wildlife in the inlet and enjoy a magnificent sunset. The next day we catch...

First trip of the year camping in our 1993 Ford Explorer. Tring out some camping friendly modifications. Early spring damp, cold, windy and beautiful. Had a fire, made some food and kept warm all night with the diesel heater. Good times!
