    I just tried to do this with a simple box and cone. The cone created a second one and placed it on top mid way and neither went to the face I had selected. Any idea why? Thanks.

    Hi, is this working with the latest zBrush version 2024 ? Unfortunatly, I was already buying but can't make the tool appear in zBrush and now seeing it is made for older versions.

    My problem here is that the instances are rotating weirdly along the curve. The actual planes themselves are rotated correctly, but the instanced objects are twisted in weird directions

    The surface projection depth option does not exist as you indicate.

    Amazing. It would be nice if you'd show the whole graph at the end a bit clearer. I know you meant to, but it is blurred due to a TH-cam overlay. Nonetheless this video opened my eyes 😃

    yeah but I dont want the plane haha, what if I need lets say 20 bolts to repeat and follow along a door curve for example, hiding the plane is not good since I need to use it in an engine, so I have the object with plane instead of just my object, so many extra poly's. One it comes to curves, I see blender being a pain to work with here. Thanks anyways, this is not the solution

    This has really helped to stop the deforming around the curve. One issue I'm having is that the spacing doesn't seem to be equal at certain points around the curve. I am duplicating a chain to make a necklace and at several points the chains are far apart while others are more consistent. I thought the constant offset would help this but it doesn't. Any ideas?

      Apologies for the late reply - it may be because the curve has transformations applied. Try applying the transformations and see if that helps.

    If you have an offset of the instanced objects, try setting the object you want to instance to be a child of the planes without inverse. To say: Parent ( Without Inverse ) when you press crtl + p

    Hello man. Im doing this race track, im using a path, the race track concrete is centered with the path, however other objects which are not centered with the same path, get all deformed. You know how to fix this?
