If you got the gold one, that is not a bad choice. Remember look for the shiny turtle in the map too. In the collection, they are count as different one.

In the game you can only equip 5 echoes and the total cost of all 5 has an upper limit (e.g. the total cost of your echoes must not exceed 12). I’m pretty sure “cost” can’t mean “rarity”.

@@atestr5257 it is closed beta II， i using Chinese text ui so you didn't know the word on the bottom right corner mean "game still in closed beta". Wuthering Waves official release on MAY 22/23 so keep a bit more patient.

Yes, but at the time i finish sthe quest i didn't know about this red name enemy, this walkthrough is recorded after that. It only reward you a highest rarity of chest, so not like red name echoes, you can clear it anytime you pass by.

You mean echo skill? It can't deal much damge to the red name echoes, dodge attack deal damage base on their max hp.

One of the reason you challenge them because red name echoes guarantee give you gold/5 star echoes. Normally you can only have a chance to get gold/5 star echoes when you reach player level 30 and data bank(echo capture level) level to 15. And red name echoes don't care what level you current have, so it is worth to challenge them in the early game. When you get them, it mean you unlock all raity of this echo, it is a big amount of data bank experience to level up your data bank.

The 3 crabs, 3 signal creature, and 4 element creatures are the hardest, they only give you 1 cost echoes but take some much time.

Because normally you can only get gold /5star echoes when your player level reach 30and capture level(data bank level)to 15, by clear red name echoes you can guarantee get its gold echo, echoes is your character equipment, if you get gold one in early game it can help you deal more damge than if you without gold echoes.

In order to level up your data bank, you need to capture echo one by one, from raity green to blue to purple and gold. You need to do this to all echoes. Each raity of the echo will give you data bank experience to level up the data bank. When you get gold echo by clearing red name echoes, it will give all data bank experience of that echo. More like a cheatting way because you didn't capture them from the lowest raity but jump to the highest raity. It is a time saving for you.

No, the red name echoes will not respawn after you clear them. Other normally type of echoes will respawn daily and bosses in map will respawn 3-5min after you clear them.

Only get echoes from tacet field need resin(it give resource at the same time not only the echo), in the rest of the open world map, you will have chance to get echo every time you kill the monster, the chance and quality of the echo depends on your data bank level. Normal and Elites echo will limited number in the map and refresh daily, but boss will refresh every 3-5min after you kill them.
