I grew up in Toronto in the 1950's and 1960's and it's remarkable how much it has changed. In the 1950's the skyline (such as it was) was dominated by the iconic Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and the Royal York Hotel. Both of these buildings are dwarfed by the modern day steel and glass skyscrapers that are now prevalent. I moved out of Toronto in 2010 and seldom return but it does hold a very distinct place in my heart, it was my home for 58 years. Thanks for the very special memories, terrific video footage!

You should have a view from Champlain Bridge .... i use the REM and Montreal skyline is like Hong Kong with more green space , trees and open water of the St LAwrence River .

Montreal Skyline is unique and impressive from the Champlain Bridge ... The St-Lawrence river mixed with the Skyscraapers and the 2 million trees on the island does not exist in any other city in CAnada . Montreal has the largest urban parks and # 1 most sustainable city in the world ( Vancouver is 4 th ) .

Toronto skyline doesn't compare to so many other cities, to claim that it has the best Skyline in North America is laughable, Calgary, Vancouver, and Montreal are Canadian cities with a much Superior Skyline and a better overall City feel than Toronto... Toronto is one of those cities that is very underwhelming in person, very lackluster when it comes to actual Big City Vibe... It is still worth a visit, don't get me wrong it has some interesting places, however it is very overhyped.
Thanks for your perspective but disagree with your comment about the skyline. Flying drone around waterfront is very restricted in toronto, all those shots are from very far away.
